A Guide To Start And Maintain Your Ayurveda Journey.
When I first began the spiritual journey of Yoga six months ago, I found that along that path was Ayurveda. My main goal is to be healthy and feel good so that I am able to continue doing what I need to do with this life. Ayurveda sounded like the next step for me and I took to the internet, as most of us do, for research. Most of what I found ended up being supplement companies who sell amazing products, but lack the depth of knowledge I was seeking. Then, I found Sahara. She was all over social media and packed her website full of amazing information. If you're anything like me, you got to know Sahara from her enthusiastic social media (Instagram, especially) posts which lead to her helpful website articles. Even though the information on her website is thorough, well done, and insightful it still made it a challenge for me to follow more of a curriculum style guide on learning Ayurveda. When she announced the release of this book, I knew it was exactly what I needed. I felt as though she and I were connected; I needed a teacher and she, a student. I'm thankful I had a chance to get to know her credibility in Ayurveda while watching her aim to help others freely online and interacting with her community. If you have not had the chance to get to know Sahara, I am taking this time to speak for her in case you're on the fence about buying yet another guide about nutrition.I assure you, this book is NOT full of the fad-diet gimmicks you see too often. I have seen that Sahara is reaching out to people to spread the wisdom and knowledge that dates back 5000 years. Ayurveda for one has been helping me a great deal and this book is an intuitive collection of guidance to help keep my progress of learning and being healthier. This book may seem small for a guide on the vastly large information that makes up Ayurveda, however, it's an evolution of knowledge as well and Sahara has comprised this book in a way that will allow us to begin our journey in the most efficient method.I highly recommend this book, it will be a way to start and maintain your journey to a better, healthier life.Namaste

Super informative
I read this book to try to figure out what Ayurveda was, since I heard the term tossed around recently and wondered what people were talking about. It’s basically a very old Indian system of holistic health and wellness–body, mind, spirit–that’s been around for thousands of years. There are a lot of Indian words that will never stick in my mind throughout the book, but the author was great to explain in normal terms what everything meant. There were some cool concepts that resonated with me for health and wellness and some, especially near the end, that just seemed a little too “out there” to fully embrace. But overall, it did just what I wanted it to. It explained Ayurveda principles of health and wellness so I could understand them better. If you’re wondering (like me) what Ayurveda is, this book is a good one for the layman to start with.

Well organized and explains concepts in an easy to understand way.
I liked this book well enough to let two other friends know about the book and they in turn bought their own copy. What is useful about this book is the definitions are explained.

Great content but not proof read properly before printing
I really like this book, easy read and informative, just let down by many typos, missing words etc.eg: - in one list it mentions Mexico twice- when speaking about the 7 dhatus it only lists 6, a mistake that is repeated more than once

Heal My Community!
Sahara Rose offers her expertise and years of research of the world of Ayurveda & Nutrition to us all who may never have the opportunity to study such ancient information in India as she did.The book itself is written in a very approachable and modern way that I feel will be accessible to my friends and family who unfamiliar with Ayurveda and are ready for a well balanced and healthy lifestyle. The information in the book serves as a great foundation to all things Ayurveda, Nutrition, Health, and Spirituality, and is a great compliment to Sahara's Eat Feel Fresh blog/community on social media where she shares inspirational tips daily.Overall, I am excited to deepen my own health practices, and share my well being with those around me for the ultimate healing experience for us all.I purchased 11 (1 pre-order, and then 10 after I saw how amazing the content is) copies total to gift to my family in their village in the Philippines, and my brothers/sisters in the streets here in LBC. We all need to be healthy to live life to our fullest potential and serve our purpose, and feeling this health will allow for wealth beyond our imagination to finally transpire.Thank You Sahara, Deepak Chopra, Idiot's Guide, Penguin Random House, and of course the Sages of Ancient India who have gifted us with such vast knowledge of life and unlocking its truest potential with the balance of our spirit, body, mind.
