This is a very good replacement for your power cord on a rand McNally GPS 730

Loved the length when I bought it. Worked until my husband dropped the gps while plugged in. Don't know how it landed but the metal part of the plug bent at the end where it plugs into the gps. So not sure if my fault or a problem with the plug strength. Liked it better than the Rand McNally one though, so ordering another one to try again.

I cannot live without gps, don't like using phone for it. I live in Cali and without GPS I'd be in trouble. I have a rand McNally gps and the prongs broke. I have to drive 350 miles to SoCal (ugh!) tomorrow and got this and it works fine. Thanks for making life so much easier in California. It is such a pain to go shopping for anything these days in this state and I use amazon for everything except groceries!

Totally blew out the outlet in my truck. I'm not mad because I lease and little things like that are covered but be ready. If the product you're charging stops working, it's because this thing shorted it out.

This is an easy choice if your adapter breaks. Much less expensive than the one from Rand McNally. worked perfectly. plug it in and everything works. the construction is durable (at least as good as the original). The cable feels solid and the adapter plug part feels solid and well assembled.

On the piece that is supposed to plug into the device, the covering fell off and it became unusable after one try. Stay away from this product.

I own a Rand McNally GPS. the weakest point of them is the power cord. The GPS destroys them. I carry 2 Cords all the time. These last longer than most. I really like them
