Trying to find a good black lipstick is hard. Most aren't pigmented enough or wear off easily. THIS ONE however is both very pigmented and stays on extremely well. As long as you shake it before hand.I tested the lipstick by applying once without shaking and once with shaking it up and the difference is night and day so make sure you read the directions.The smudge proof aspect is not straight forward however, once it is set and dry it's unlikely to smudge or come off from drinking or light kisses but any pressure and some of the color may transfer. Other factors that have effected how much it transfers after setting are heat and humidity so be wary of that.Overall I'd give the smudge proof a 8/10 color 10/10 application process a 6/10 (because you do have to shake it and wait up to 10-15 minutes before it's fully set)

LOVE this. Didn't dry out my lips like a lot of other long lasting color. Color was a great neutral but now I need a darker one!!! :)

Same product I buy at Ulta. Stays on for many hours if shaken well. Not drying to lips.

Thick and very bold. it does stay on and last a long time. have a q-tip ready to touch up any edges that you don't get on straight so it does not stain the skin.

Goes on evenly. Stays for hours. Best is I can kiss someone without a big mess left on his face!

I will never buy this again . It’s not what it claims . It flaked really bad and left my lips very blotchie was not smooth at all and the price is not worth what you get at all ! Neva

Color is bold, true to its product advertisement, it doesn't transfer. If you are looking for something that will last, here you go.However, it is not necessary. Why not go buy yourself some lipstick instead?It's not the product for on the go people. You have to let it dry or else it's sticky. Tgeres a process to the application. On the go people do not have time for the process, but if you do then it's excellent for you.When it comes time to take it off, that's exactly what you need: time. There's a process to taking it off. It's not easy unless you have proper makeup remover. When I first tried this product without the proper knowledge, when it came time to take it off, I thought for sure I wouldn't have any lips left with the amount of scrubbing I had to do.So all in all, it's beautiful and the color is bold. But understand, this is a makeup product that has a process application to get the best results. Do you have the time or not would be the decision maker upon purchasing.

Yes!Always having something on my lips I am always trying to find the latest long wear lip that doesn't need to be reapplied, bleed, or dry out and build up. That's left me with HUNDREDS of lipsticks, glosses, balms etc...THIS IS A GAME CHANGER!The transfer is worth it because it's minimal and otherwise stays all day without having to be reapplied and does not look like a longwear lipstick (flat/dry) rather a nice color payoff with surprisingly good shine foe a long-term lippy.A must have for anyone who takes their lipstick seriously!
