Can confirm this does boost the voltage to charge things that require more than 12V. I have successfully run and charged a newer Macbook pro and a Dell Inspiron off the usb-c jack.

Functions as it should, for the most part. It charges phones and tablets fast and even charges my work laptop as it has a usb-c power port. So, this thing has the power advertised and works well. The only caveat is the power button. It only switches the power on the standard USB port so the USB-C port is always on. So if this is for an RV, boat, electric vehicle, or off-grid cabin where you might want to control your power draw, you’ll want to add an external power switch to cut the power from this unit when not in use.

I purchsed this to add another charger to my 2023 can-am spyder. this will charge your device while you are using it. PLENTY of output power! This is awesome and love it!

Does fast charge. Not super fast. So 5v and 9v not 12v. Looks great. C port slightly loose but works. Good value for the cost overall

I am floored by these 12v products. How is this so much smaller and cheaper than a high wattage AC usb-c outlet!

It works well and charges fast but maybe a bit too fast. It was installed in a case with an external battery. Seems to have cooked a bit while charging. I didn't notice this until IU opened the case and found the melty part. Looking for something more substantial now.

Updated review***I’m knocking a few stars off because I am no longer able to use the on /off button.It still works but the entire module inside the casing is loose. The part slides in and out when you plug components in. I have really only used this specificOutlet about a dozen times. Quality it poor.Original review***I am using this for a direct to DC through a BlueSea split bus fuse box and a small 7.5 a fuse. I did not use the original fuse and wires that came with it. This is connected to my battery bank for camping. Since 65 watts @ 12.8 v is just a little over 5 amps, it powers my MacBook Pro pretty well. This is much more efficient than using an inverter to power the laptop.I have a second one of these installed in my car, the kids in the back seat are able to power the Mac Book and a phone.
