I ordered this for my daughter who is 9. We love the color and fit, although the suit is a wee bit large for her, we expect next year it should fit perfectly. The crossed straps in the back keep the shoulder straps from sliding down so she can swim without the suit half falling off.Buying a two piece allows room for her to grow without the suit becoming uncomfortably tight in the crotch or having to adjust the straps making the top too revealing.Getting two years out of one bathing suit saves money.

cute on the 5 year old that wears a 4 but to big for the 3 year old they run big. Maybe they can both wear them next year.

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter and this bathing suit was worn less than 10 times in my parents pool and just started to fall apart… literally…. the skirt just started shedding in strips out of nowhere. Would not buy for longevity.
