Handheld Vacuum Pump Set Tester for Automotive with Adapters Brake Bleeder Test Kit

Bleeding brakes is not something I do frequently, so I was interested in something inexpensive that would get the job done, and this little vacuum pump kit did the job very well. There were no leaks or sealing issues with the reservoir cup, and using the tubes only on the bleeder valves worked just as well as trying to use the adapters. I cannot speak to the longevity of the tool, but if it lasts even 10 uses I won't need another one for 20 years or more. If you are the home mechanic who only needs one of these every couple years, don't agonize over the many choices on Amazon, just buy this one.

Worked fine. The hoses did not fit as tight as I would have liked, had a little leak on the vacuum pump side but it turned out okay.

i figured all were about the same, NOT. This was a complete waste of money. the receiving container did not have an air tight seal, so you could never get the pump to build pressure to do the job. the plastic connector broke the 1st time I tried to fit it into the plastic tube, as well. I would not recommend. I need to find someone who has actually used one of these and believe in it. not a quality product.

I've bought these before from autostores but either wind up losing them or throw them out. I like the organized case it comes with and the pump seems to do its job but there rest of the hardware is pretty cheap. I bled the brakes on my RX330 and it seems to have worked but the attachments that go on the nipple are not very secure and let air in so when you bleed the line, it still shows bubbles. The canister is very small, I had to empty it out 3-4 times for each caliper and the stupid little gasket under the cap falls out and you lose vacuum, on the last caliper the gasket just tore. This is harbor freight quality. but for the price i didn't expect much

I bought this to bleed brakes on my car. I usually do the two person pump method but wanted to try this instead since help isn't always available. The pump worked and created a great vacuum. My only complaint was that i wish the rubber connector fit snug on the bleeder screw. It just loosely went on and stayed in place after a couple of pumps. Nice tool and the case was an added bonus.

MY friend recommended this Great product k to us and I bought this for my another  friend,s  as a birthday gift ! It is very convenient and happy to have everything you need when changing out your brakes  in a handy kit !My friend said he use it  as a vacuum pump to test automotive vacuum operated devices and it works very good ! Save a lot time and energy and very organized , he do not need back and forth try to find the tools he need ,LoL !I am very so happy he likes !

Good item, but gauge does no work

Product broke after bleeding on 6 wheels (1/2 way through the 2nd car). Besides this the attachments and the pump don't keep a good vacuum and you have to constantly pump it. This is not a big deal if you doing it once every 30000 miles. But since the seal is not good I had to use a rubber tube at the end where it connects to the bleeder and had to tie wrap it to prevent air from going in. As long as you keep the fluid moving and some sort of vacuum going, air will not get back into your lines. Just that you won't know exactly when to stop the bleeding. You can find this the moment the color of the fluid changes.I understand this product is cheap but it doesn't have to be this poor quality that it breaks with just your 2nd car. I returned the item. I guess this same issue is prevalent with numerous other manufacturers offering the same form factor and design. Spend extra money and get something that works. I am giving two stars because it did work for 6 wheels.
