Artemisia Designs Fully Lined Velvet Cloak Medieval Renaissance Hooded Cape Adult Cosplay Wedding

I ordered this (Black/Silver Cloak 50') 3 days ago and was very surprised and happy to find it when I got home from work today. The black velvet is soft and the silver lining is perfectly shiny. The cloak has a slight heft to it but not too much. I'm 5'4" and this fits comfortably across my shoulders and goes down to my ankles, which is what I wanted.I was unhappy to find poor stitching :/ I have contacted the seller and will update my review with how that's handled.Update: I watched a movie and then checked my phone to see I have already been issued a refund for about half what I paid, which is awesome. (I asked for either a hasty replacement or a partial refund since I need the cloak for an upcoming event)All in all, I feel satisfied with this purchase and how Artemisia handled my issue.

My brother has one of these cloaks in the long size. I thought I'd buy one for myself, so I ordered a long cloak.I received a short cloak.I'm over 6 feet tall. My brother's cloak trails on the floor behind me just a little. The cloak I received just barely hits mid-calf on me. I'm very disappointed.

It is a nice enough cloak, but it is NOT velvet. It is a velour type material used in bathrobes and such. I wanted a VELVET cloak, not especially happy with this. It picks up fuzz so if you have cats or dogs, beware.

I bought this cloak because I thought it was pretty and full circle.It IS pretty, but as I've found out, easy to tear! My wife had to sew up a rip in it in less than a month.Also, unfortunately, it wasn't full circle. Somewhere between half and 3/4 circle.Overall, it's not too bad. I like it, but have to be really careful with it so it won't get ripped, again.

I purchased this cloak for a friend of mine, and I was a little disappointed in the quality for the price. The material is thinner than I expected and after wearing it only a few times at the haunted house where he is working, the seam inside split down the middle of the back. It practically ripped open, leaving it severely frayed. And he said he didn't catch it on anything to cause that. For the price I would have expected it to hold up a little longer. He did say it is comfortable to wear and it does look great, though.

I have already done reviews on Artemisia capes and cloaks. They are awesome! We have four or five of them, between us and the kids. I used to make their capes and cloaks, but there is no way I can come close to the quality for the price they offer these at. Artemisia has made my mom job so much easier! The capes are made with quality material, they are fully lined, just beautiful. And they hold up well in the various conditions found at the Ren Faires we attend. Last fair, rainy and cold... I was loving my cape and others were obviously jealous!

I am 5 "8" got the 62 inch one- its a tad long (will get dirty) but I'd rather hem it short then it be too short. I am also very busty and wear a2XL usually, and was happy it went fully around me with room to spare. The satin is slippery though, I will prob add a clasp or broach to the front and fingerholds on the inside. Could be cheaper cost wise, but it fit good!

BeUtiful for an inexpensive cape. The lining snags on the tiniest imperfection in your hands like cuticle . It’s very cheap. But the exterior make up for it
