We had just purchased a leather lift chair for my husband. The problem was the leather was so slick he would slide out before the chair had completed the lift. My son suggested a cover. In all honesty I had my doubts about any slip cover that would not slide on this leather. I found this cover that said it was made for leather chairs and would not slide so I ordered it. Still doubtful I was amazed at how well the the it clung to the chair. Let me tell you, my husband is 300 lbs. and it still did not slide with him in the upright position. The bonus is that it is very soft and very well made. The pockets are great for his iPad and has a built in USB.And it looks great, too! I definitely recommend this to anyone.

I love this chair cover. I have an oversized recliner and it fits well. It is so soft and feels like velvet. The color matches the chair well. I chose gray.The length is perfect. It's long enough to cover the foot rest.. It stays on the back of the chair without having to use the black straps which I think are very unattractive. The strap's color should match the chair cover color. Chair covers always slip to some degree. It is very easy to smooth and straightened and make it look new again.I would recommend making the arm covers wider. Because they do not protect the entire arm. I have not spilled any liquid on them yet. The fabric Doesn't attract pet hair. I have two Shelties which are always shedding and sit in my lap. There is no hair on my chair this morning. Too early to judge wear and tear.

I didn’t like it that the elastic straps attached to the cover are too short to hook onto each other to keep the cover from sliding.

Great material and color. Water resistant as listed, The straps are too long to keep the cover in place. The fit is strange because it does not cover the arms when you tuck it in the sides and the back. I love the feel of the fabric and am trying to make it work but it does not stay in place.

I have really enjoyed this cover. It fits well, and I belive it would stay in place better if my 85 pound mini dane wasn't jumping in and out of my chair all day. She thinks it belongs to her....LOL. Although she does climb in and out of it all day, there is no damage to the cover or the chair.

The first time one of my cats decided to pee on the cover, it went all the way through. I’m now having to spend the money on a different brand. Do not waste it on this one. The velvet also holds on to every crumb, piece of fur, lint, etc.
