I had always enjoyed this tea but couldn't find it when a warehouse club stopped carrying it. My sister recently told me that she had bought it on Amazon, and here we are. I made sure that I was actually purchasing from Bigelow and this was a great deal. Package came as a box inside of a plastic sleeve. As you can see from the photos the box was perfectly intact and all 6 boxes are properly sealed and undamaged. The Lemon Ginger flavor pairs very well with green tea and a bit of honey, and at night its soothing with honey all by itself. I am so very happy with this purchase.

Still searching for a good lemon ginger tea, this is only fair ( but it's better than stash!)

There was a Chinese food restaurant that had the best iced tea when I was stationed in Germany 12 years ago and I have been trying to find or replicate that taste. There was an extra ingredient that I couldn't figure out and came to believe it was Ginger. I originally found Bigelow's at Sam's on clearance and fell in love with the flavor because it comes the closest to the taste I remember. I use 3 bags per quart of water. I first boil the water then add 3/4 cups of sugar. I stir to dissolve the sugar then I add the tea bags and remove from the heat. I let it steep until the tea is completely cooled (I usually make it at night and let it steep overnight). I then put it in the fridge to chill and I don't serve until it is completely chilled so that the ice doesn't water it down. I serve with lemon or lime and it is delicious!
