TRAVEL SIZE! this is an awesome mirror, but read the description because it is SMALL! This is not what I keep on my makeup vanity however it is a staple item I take traveling. The lights dim as well when you hold the circle down which is a great feature.

I thought it was going to be bigger.

I received this mirror in black from the vendor at no charge for the purpose of using the product and reviewing it. Black is a color anyone can use whether it's tucked into a backpack, a computer bag or a handbag.First, inside the box that contains the mirror is an instruction sheet on the features of the mirror as well as how to install the batteries, what kind of batteries to use and battery safety cautions. The mirror comes with batteries installed, but I appreciate the instructions for use as so many new products these days do not have anything enclosed so to me this says a lot about this company that they went the extra step to do this for the consumer.It is a tri-fold mirror and the quality is quite good. I do not see any rippling or distortion at all. It would also make a great travel mirror as it folds neatly and the plastic cover seems thick enough to prevent any breakage.It sits nicely on a flat surface and the sides do fold in for a small tri-fold look at the sides of your face, etc.The lighting is supplied with 4 little hearts on each side of the center mirror that can be turned on by pushing the circle at the bottom of the mirror. It works well in the dark but do not expect the lighting quality of a major makeup mirror because it isn't meant to do that.I think this is a great mirror for a gift, perhaps in a basket packed with bath and makeup products for a gal on the go who needs to check out the face now and then! I would also like to see this vendor make the mirror with a magnification for those of us who appreciate having that as well :)
