I received this lap desk a few weeks ago just in time for a 2 week vacation. It really came in handy when used during the trip. I was able to sit for more than 8 hours in the car working on my computer without wrist pain or back fatigue. This has been a great improvement over other lap desks I have used in the past.There are some neat uses for the stand that aren't really covered on the listing page. For example, I was able to fish my macbook charger through one of the holes on the side, and now when I move the laptop, the magnetic charger cable does not come undone. This solved a huge headache where before it would sit in the adapter port, but not charge due to the weight of the cable dragging it down. However, since I placed it in through the hole, now there is slack, which prevents the magnet from falling out! Fantastic!

I spent a fair amount of time researching lap desks that I could use with my laptops and for writing and coloring (adult coloring books). I use this with a Dell Latitude XPS 15", Surface Pro 3 and a Dell Latitude E5480. I've never had an issue with any of the machines sliding or not fitting on the stand. Writing and coloring on it is good. I've used it on a sofa, recliner, bed and on a table. My only minor issue is that the mouse pad falls off. I got around the brace stick falling off by using a large rubber band, but the mouse pad slides underneath the band. I'm sure a small piece of double sided sticky tape would resolve this.

I obviously used this on my lap originally, but had it sitting on my counter one day and it is all warped and doesn't sit flat. Works great for it's intended purpose as I am always sitting on the couch with a couple of papers and love the extended surface for the mousepad.

This is the first laptop/portable desk I have purchased. So far my I am impressed overall with this product!First of all the packaging of the desk is quite compact. When not in use, all the pieces fit back in to the desk simply for convenient storage. Then when in use, the multiple configurations that the desk can manage make fitting any laptop simple and easy!I am exceptionally impressed with the design and look of the desk. With the addition of a removable mouse pad, and a slot that your iPhone or Android smart phone fits in so that it is upright and facing you, while in no way impeding your ability to work.Overall, I am very impressed with this product. Smart design, good form, and above all impeccable function makes this one of the smarter things I have purchased to make my day to day office work much more efficient.

First off, this thing is awesome. I was looking everywhere for a stationary laptop desk and none of them seemed to have the perfect angle for working comfortably. Also, I was super impressed by the way it all collapsed back into the desk itself and could easily be used to just take those separate parts and bring them with me to stand my laptop on. Being a graphic designer, I love the ability to work anywhere and taking these internal pieces with me to the coffee shop down the street was a breeze. I set up my stand and prop my laptop up and start drawing on my Wacom.I also really really like how it sits on my lap as a whole unit. The perfect size to cover my knees while they're crossed and sitting comfortably. The mouse pad is also very comfortable. The other thing I noticed is that my phone and tablet were able to easily fit into the long slot on the top while still remaining in their cases! This is something I've been looking for for a LONG time.

At first I was concerned that this lap desk wouldn’t meet my needs and be comfortable but I decided to take a chance and I love it. One thing I did to improve it was spray some rubber Flex Seal on the 2 vertical laptop stand pieces to keep my laptop from sliding around. Made it perfect!

I like the product. It is top quality. Bought it for my granddaughter. She says that the stand does not provide adequate support for the laptop . Since she is the end user, I will send it back.
