Pictures do not do this artwork justice, as you can’t see the dimensions to it, nor the nuances. It is also a lot more sturdy than I assumed it would be (I thought it would be flimsy but it’s not). So glad I ordered it! Shipping was fast, and it was packed to perfection to prevent damage! I might be addicted to this company now…

I bought this beautiful hand-made sculpture for two main reasons: It helps the people of Haiti earn money to care for their families and it is a solid work of art for a reasonable price. I bought this to display on my garage. Many people adorn their houses with suns or butterflies, but I will have a dragon. My husband is also pleased, as this is a more masculine decoration.It is one solid, sturdy metal piece with intricate hand-pounded details. It has been treated with something to give the metal contrast around the detail and sealed with a clear-coat of paint.Now, if you don’t prefer a dragon, look through the other designs offered. There are plenty to choose from.I was also pleasantly surprised that this treasure, although made in Haiti, arrived within a few days of placing the order.

I ordered this dragon plaque as a gift for a friend who loves dragons and is celebrating a special event in his life. I wanted something that spoke to his passion AND was unique. I got everything I was looking for and more. It's very regal in appearance. The art piece was larger that I expected but that was wonderful. The detail and the intricacies of the design is beautiful. The plaque is lightweight and can be hung on any kind of wall. The piece is very impressive and would look wonderful in anyone's home. Very happy with the item. The attention to detail and the amount of time it took to create a very unique and one of a kind gift is amazing. I love the fact that it is hand made and unique in its own right.

Dragons are totally my thing. When I opened my purchase I was a little put off by the looks of this art piece. It did not seem to look like the thing I purchased. That was when I held it directly in front of me. The markings seemed crude close up. But once it was on the wall and I took just a step back, the little things I noticed just disappeared. It really is quite beautiful, as pictured. My one complaint is that there is no nail hook on the back to hang it with. A shiny silver nail disappears among the rest of the silver once you hang it though, so it's not so bad. I'll try to remember to update with a picture now that it is on the wall.

This sculpture is beautiful! The workmanship is incredible, especially considering that the artisans make these with the most basic of hand tools. I highly recommend that you watch the artists at work on YouTube at "Haiti Metal/It's Cactus". Even better, this is a Fair Trade product made from old 55-gallon steel drums!

I have this hanging in my bedroom and I love seeing it there every time I walk by it. Rather than the mounting method recommended, I use some 24 gauge wire wrapped around the wingtips to hang it on the wall.

The dragon is well crafted and the entire sculpture is sturdy and attractive in its natural metal finish. I used two clear Command hooks to hang it on the interior garage door. This handsome fellow welcomes me when I enter the house and protects my home with his power and wisdom.

Great project to get jobs to talented people. Artwork is fantastic!
