The locker was loose within 1 week, when you use it , it will slide back the lock position (Unlike the other one I purchased from another seller on amazon.com, when slide the locker to unlock position, it will stay there and won't slide back to the lock position when using). To save seller money, I didn't return it before 2018-06-02 requested buy the seller. I wrapped tape on the locker and the lower handle to keep the locker to the unlock position while I am using. But, 48 days later, 2018-06-20, suddenly, it can't cut any small branch even 2mm fresh tree branches. it seems no force added to the blade when clench the clipper handles. The other same product I purchased from another seller is still good.Hi Vilapur Seller, I you replace one for me? if I received a new one with standard quality, I can amend my review and change the star for this product.Thanks!

These are lightweight and easy to hold, but also flimsy. They feel cheap. Handle lock started working stiffly almost immediately and won't last the season, probably not even half a season. Mine were squeaky within the first hour of use, and there was a LOT of play in the handles straight from the package. Handles aren't very comfortable and you'll want to wear gloves with these (always a good idea when pruning).On the plus side, the blade was plenty sharp out of the package and these do cut through small branches pretty cleanly considering the amount of play. We'll see how soon it needs a sharpening.Ultimately you get what you pay for and spending twice as much will get you something at least twice as good. If these are going to be your only shears, get something better. If you just need a cheap pair of extra shears for when a friend is helping you out, these will certainly do.

I enjoy working outdoors in my garden as well as with my houseplants and sometimes you just need a good set of shears. My boyfriend and I both work together sometimes so I figured I would get two sets, one for each of us to use, and if I got two different ones, we can figure out which ones we like best. These Fisktool 8 inch Professional Hand Ratchet Pruning Shears（FT-01-003）are definitely my least favorite of the two. Not to say they are terrible, they just lack some of the niceties that the other set has. This SK-5 Steel Blade is sharp enough and works well. The set is very light weight which is nice however, I do not like the curvature of the handle. Also, the lock mechanism on this set is plastic, which I thought very strange, not only is it not easy to use, I feel like I will more than likely end up breaking it at one point or another. The blade is sharp though and does exactly what it is supposed to do. This one worked better with medium and small size plants.~Thanx~

These are kinda cheapo. However for the price , they are ok for light duty pruning. I am a professional gardener and these would not last a month at my job. A good example of what these can be used for is when you buy a bouqet of flowers and need to trim the bottoms to fit into a vase. They are lightweight. Fit comfortable in the hand and will cut through quarter to half inch wood stems. I wouldnt attempt to much 1/2 to 3/4 inch stem cuts with these as I think the blade will dull too fast. 10 bucks light duty pruners is what these are. Happy Gardening Folks !

This is a great pruner that is sharp and makes clean cuts effortlessly. It is easy on the user, too. I am prone to arthritis and tendinitis in my hands, but using this pruner doesn't aggravate my problem. It's my new favorite garden tool.

Excellent value and works as advertised. Used it for 2 full days of fall clean up and it work flawlessly. Cuts thicker branches with little effort.

I should’ve paid greater attention to the deceptive brand name; instead, due to my oversight, I paid a greater amount for a lesser product. Obviously (now), this is NOT a FISKAR’s tool. This type of no-name piggyback product should sell for less than $5.
