So I ordered this set for my bf for Christmas and he absolutely loves them!! The stand was broken on arrival tho. It took a while and a few emails before we finally recieced a new one, they sent us a whole new set!!! We are both extremely happy with this product!! Great for those that need to make sure the block is CLEAN
I prefer to see inside my knife block, as you're going to have a bug here or there in any home. It doesn't matter how clean you are, but being able to make sure there's nothing inside your knife block (including mold or such) is very nice.I was very pleasantly surprised by how sharp these knives were right out of the box, and they stay sharp for quite awhile. (Seriously, I managed to cut myself the first day and they are so sharp, I didn't notice until I started bleeding.) The sharpening tool that comes with them is also higher quality than expected.

This knife set looks very nice on my counter and doesn't take up much room. The only thing I am not crazy about is how lightweight the knives feel. For the price, they are good. Also a bit slippery so hold on!
