This book was perfect to use for my class. The illustrations are bright and colorful! I received the book in a timely manner.

This book and the Garden vegetableSoup are great! My students really enjoyed counting and labeling the items. We also acted out the action of the books such as cutting, chopping, and stirring! Tons of fun.

As a retired elementary school librarian and an early childhood consultant, I heartily recommend this book to all families with young children. Not only is the rhyming text developmentally appropriate, the colorful illustrations are lively and fun for kids! And let's not forget the message it sends!!!! What a wonderful way to introduce children to cooking together and eating nutritious foods. Makes a perfect gift for new parents as well as an "any occasion" surprise for preschoolers!

This is a really cute book purchased for our grandchild(ren). The illustrations are captivating, and the experience of creating the food recipe with your children or grandchildren is memorable! Somehow, those fruits described by them earlier as 'yukky' are now 'yummy' and consumed with delight. A great little book. Can't wait for the sequel(s)!

We have thoroughly enjoyed this book. It has such versatility when it comes to teaching our 2 year old new things. From counting, practicing colors to deepening her interest in cooking, it's been such a fun learning journey with her. We love this book and can't wait for the rest of the series to come out!

Another great book, just like Garden Safari Vegetable Soup. It will be another gift for our young granddaughter.

Easy for a pre-reader to understand and count along!

Our daughters love this book. It's educational on so many levels, as well as entertaining and appealing to all ages. Since our girls are 6 years old, they asked if they could do it all by themselves. So, other than having to cut up a few things for them, they were able to follow the recipe in the back of the book with the measurements all by themselves. It was so cute watching them figure out which measuring cup was which. They did an awesome job and it was delicious. Now they can't wait to make it again for Nana and Papa.My hubby and I both love this book because it is well written and beautifully illustrated. Bright colors, sturdy pages, lots of fruit and a great recipe. You can't go wrong with this book. Looking forward to collecting the entire series. A great addition to the girls library and our cookbooks. This book along with the others to follow will also be excellent gifts for both children and teachers.

Used this for a nursery cooking activity, it was great. The children loved it!
