Calla Angel Sage Garden Luxury Pure Cotton Quilt, King, Light Aqua

Beautiful quilt. Love the weight and quality. I ordered the King size and the standard shams (sold separately) for my Queen bed. It drapes nicely down the sides without pooling on the floor. I washed it before using and it washed beautifully. Overall, it’s the kind of quality that will last for years.

I decided I wanted all white bedding. I chose this one because it had good reviews. It is very sturdy, made well. Comfortable feeling cotton. It is stitched very well, not punch stitches, real stitches. It’s exactly what I wanted. I have a double or full size bed and I bought a queen size so it hangs lower on the sides. It fits perfect!

Dye lots vary, of course, but the “ light aqua” one I got was an almost perfect match for Sherwin Williams Tidewater printed paint chip, or maybe just a touch more pale than that paint color. Perhaps this will help others not have to buy (and return) the quilt to figure out the color. If you don’t have access to a SW store, check their website. In the US they will mail you up to 8 paint chips for free. (Uncertain about other countries.)Otherwise, the quilt is lovely and seems well made. I’ll be keeping the white one I also ordered, since the color I needed was bluer than this one.

Only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is that as several reviewers stated the queen size is just too small. I’m keeping it because it costs half the purchase price to return it and also I really do love the quilt. I would love it even more if they added 4 inches to the width and 2 inches to the length. I know it’s going to shrink no matter how careful I am. The problem with scalloped borders is that the seller is going to measure from the outer edge of the scallops. Where the indentation is between scallops is where the bottom of my mattress shows so keep that in mind. I’d say there’s a difference of 1 1/2” between the outer edge of a scallop and the indentation. So subtract 3” from the width when you determine whether it will cover what you want it to. How much it will shrink I can’t help with as I haven’t washed and dried it yet.The fabric is very soft and the quilting is right on with no places where it moved a bit off course which is rare with computer driven machine quilting. I hope the manufacturer will make a slightly bigger version one day so they can avoid the returns and sell even more of these beautiful quilts! Oh and I didn’t find any chemical smell on mine at all which is why I haven’t washed it yet. Please note that after washing and drying all quilts will be a bit more crinkly looking if they’re cotton. It’s not a defect it proves you have the best! If you can line dry it you won’t have much crinkling.

This bedspread is exactly what I was looking for but was surprised to find at this price point! It is the perfect weight for all seasons. I love the white color and of course it is easy to wash at home. The texture is lovely as well! Easy to make up everyday and no off putting factory scent! Game changer

This is my second Calla Angel quilt and shams in the ivory color. My sister loved the first one so much that she bought it from me. The Calla Angel quilts are very well made and the weight is substantial and it lies on the bed nicely. I bought a king size quilt and two standard size pillow shams for my queen size bed and the quilt drapes down quite a ways on both sides of the bed. Glad I did. The pattern is stitched on both the quilt and shams very well. When purchasing Calla Angel quilts and shams, remember that the shams are sold separately and the price shown is for only one sham. Although the prices are rather high the product line is very well made and the stitched embroidery is beautiful. This quilt and shams will be on my bed for years to come. I would definitely recommend this product line to anyone looking for a high quality quilt and pillow shams.

This is not a large king bedspread. But we have a sleep number bed and it's low to the floor, so this was a perfect fit for our bed. The pattern is attractive, and the scallop edge a nice touch. It looks crisp and fresh and was a great value for the price. Weight is nice -- not too thin like matelesse, but not too heavy either.Bought the shams as well!
