Fit like a glove or rather fit like a shoe should !
Very comfortable right from the start, comfy with plenty of padding but not in a sloppy way. Due to an injury from a motorcycle accident I have to wear a heel raiser in the right shoe and there's plenty of room for this again without being too sloppy or loose. The next thing is the waterproof qualities, buying these in July I didn't think I'd be able to comment but whilst the rest of the world bakes, good old Blighty must be having one of the wettest on record, I digress, these shoes have been perfect for dog walking through soaking wet grass and my feet are dry as a bone. I must admit I was a bit unsure of this purchase as I hadn't heard of Silentcare but it just shows that you don't have to buy big brand names if all you require is a quality product. So far these are perfect, and I would buy again.

Good value shoes for the price
The walking shoes are comfortable, easy to lace up and fairly well made and good value for the price they also fit well however it did take quite a while to decide on the size to order, I usually take shoe size 44 but decided on a size 45 which turned out to be best choice as they are a nice comfortable fit.

A fantastic walking shoe
These are great walking shoes when you get the size right. For the last 50 years I have taken a size 10 (44) so that's what I ordered but they were tight so I went up to a 10.5 which were still a little tight on one foot and I ended up with size 11. That sorted though I am very pleased with these shoes. They are very comfortable and much lighter than my previous walking shoes. I don't hike but I do walk a lot and have found them to be just what I wanted. I haven't tested them in more than an inch or so of water but then they're not boots but I have tried them in several inches of snow and not only did they not let anything in they gripped much, much better than I expected.

Look Great, Impressive claims but durability??
I liked the look of these, main features being lightweight (yes) and claimed waterproof. Priced at almost £62 but 'discounted' to £52 I thought - bargain. First pair arrived, seemed OK but too small (my fault but I'm usually a size 11) Ordered the larger size 12 and they fitted fine, seemed comfortable but made a noise - seriously- when walking like my feet were in crinkly crisp bags?? The first pair did not make this obvious noise. On investigation the only explanation I could find was the waterproof membrane between the outer and the inner sock was not stuck properly and was making the noise. This appeared to be a quality issue which may lead to the shoe 'leaking' at some point apart from the noise intrusion. Yes folks, I'm serious about the 'rustling crisp bag noise! Bottom line is I managed to buy a pair of Adidas Terrex waterproof shoes, similar in design and spec for about £10 more !

good value
ive had these a few months now, bought to replace a much more expensive product that didnt live up to the hype or the price. So far these are doing the job and at a fraction of the price of the other product that cost more but failed, these are my go to shoes for daily use and i m well happy so far

NOT Waterproof
Today was the 5th time that I've worn these and my socks are wet through. I have not walked in a puddle and only been on wet grass, so they are simply NOT waterproof. How the manufacturer can claim that they are is completely beyond me and they have been a complete waste of money!
