Organic Vegan Banana Cream Pie Protein Powder (1 Serving Sample)

I felt really good after having this; not having whey really helps. I see what some people say about the taste- but when you want to leave out the sugar, you get a different flavor. So, it doesn't taste like sugar, but for those of used to that, it tastes really good! This is a new staple for me.

I was so disappointed, especially since it was more expensive than my normal flavors. I tried two servings to see if I could warm up to it and there is just no way. It was truly awful. It tasted like yellow potting soil. I literally could not believe how bad it was. I was really looking forward to this being a new favorite. Oh well, I guess you can't hit the ball out of the park every time.

This is one of my least favorite flavors from Protein Milkshake Bar; it serves its purpose in terms of being a low carb, high protein meal option however I found it to be much more chalky than other flavors offered by the same company. Works well when combined with a smoothie or as a supplemental ingredient.

Seller/packaging is top notch. Buy without worries in that regard. Low rating is because I found the taste of this, mixed per the directions (recommends using water instead of milk), to be very off putting. I don't expect protein powder to magically taste like a milkshake but this has a VERY vegetal taste on the back end and is strangely 'flat' tasting? It's......not good. I couldn't drink it as is without a couple pumps of sugar free syrup in there. Am hoping some mix ins, like strawberries or even real bananas, plus nut milk, will jazz it up enough to make finishing the bag not feel like a chore. I'll work it out, I'm sure, but sometimes you want a grab and go meal, and this is not that.

I have yet to be disappointed with a Protein Milkshake Bar protein powder! I'm not vegan but I prefer protein without whey and this flavor is delicious!! I received two discounted samples as a VIP and I already ordered the full size! I did have some issues with it not mixing smooth in water- but to be honest the little clumps tasted like the pie crust in a real banana cream pie so no major complaints! I think this one will be amazing as a smoothie/milkshake and plan to mix it with almond milk and a frozen banana next! Also- this powder not only has 21g of protein but 6g of fiber!!! Win!!

As others have mentioned, the banana scent when you open the pouch is awesome. I was drawn to this brand because of the lower sugar and fantastic flavor choices. Having tried other low-sugar protein powders, I supplemented with a little splenda to get the desired flavor - no need with this powder. I blended using a shaker bottle and had no clumps or graininess.The combination of bananas and peanut butter is one of my favorite, so I threw in some powdered peanut butter ....... this totally satisfied my sweet craving.

I didn't pay attention the fact that it was a vegan shake. This was horrid! The texture of it was disgusting and the flavor was hard to stomach, I almost threw up! It doesn't mix well with water (per instructions). I will try it with almond milk and see if it's any better but I'm scared.

This would be my favorite flavor but I find the consistency a little lumpy (in both bags I ordered) and seeming to have some moisture in it making it hard to mix and dissolve. I love this flavor and think yours is the best yet, but would like more banana flavor and a different consistency with a finer powder that dissolves better.
