Purchased twice. If you do not add a layer of primer you will need to do more than one, possibly 2-3 coats of paint. However, the color payoff is well worth it in the end. Getting ready to start my third project with a 3rd purchase of the champagne color.

I wanted to paint a metallic silver mirror in either champagne or gold colour. I ended up buying the colour champagne and I’m truly disappointed. Antique champagne is virtually metallic silver, there is no difference when I put it on my mirror, the colour is the same. The consistency of the paint is also like water, it’s so thin. Not impressed at all. I wouldn’t recommend this product and I also think they need to re think the names for the colours because this is not champagne
