I wasn't sure if it were an injury or fungus and my doctor couldn't tell either. I decided to treat it as a fungus and see if I could get rid of it. I bought Kerasal liquid, and unsure if it was staying in place, I bought these Kerasal pads to keep the medicine in. I bought the double pack size.So far the darkness on my toe appeared to be getting lighter, but if I missed a day, it would come back again. I cannot imagine how these pads are supposed to medicate under the nail. I continue to use the liquid and pads. The pads are easy to apply and hold really well most of the time, but not always. I'd like the area to get some airflow, and the fabric of these bandages provides that.The color tone of the pads are a generic beige, not attention seeking to most skin tones. They wrap around 1/2 the big toe, and slits are provided to have the top support the sides adhesion to the toe. In all aspects of this being a good bandage for the protection,I find this really good.The curative aspect of this bandage is rather poor, as I use the same brand anti-fungal medication and bandage. I continue to use it after the color of my toe returns to normal, but again it returns in less than 24 hors. I would not recommend buying their single package, as fungi are stubborn to get rid of, and it should be dispensed as what they call a double portion, especially for the price.Once I finish using this product, I will change to another, as I believe this is insufficient for the fungi I have acquired. The bandage is very easy and convenient, but not a cure all. I had hope for this, but find it to be a mediocre product for fungus, but a pretty good toe bandage.

If you're older and not as "flexible" as younger adults, you'll benefit from someone helping you to apply these on your infected toenails. I struggled, but finally managed to do it without help. It took a while, though. I had high hopes these would do the trick since they're on overnight. They softened the targeted toenails, but that's it. I used them for the recommended duration and even a little longer. I had to give up.

For years I've been battling with athletes foot. Over time, despite all the fungicide sprays, I've been very slowly losing the battle. I didn't have any other symptoms (itchiness, redness, etc) though. I think the constant barrage of fungicide kept out contained to my nails somehow?In January one toenail was detached, one was almost gone, and one had turned into some tiny shriveled lump. The box says you need to use them 8 hrs a day. I had these on all day, six days week. I put them on immediately after scrubbing (and drying) my feet at night. On the seventh day, I used Lotrimin Ultra.It's been nine months now, and I'm so happy with the results. My nail has reattached, started growing back, and the last one is getting flatter and more normal. Although the box said to use for six months, I will continue using these until my nails are healed more. Yes, it is incredibly expensive - I've spent over 500. But I'd rather keep my nails. I used several packs of these and I used it in conjunction with the healing cream that is also same brands. I see it over 48 days who h was tue number of the patches were in those boxes and there was no difference whatsoever.I would not recommend this product.
