I was expecting a piece of junk. But I was surprised with the quality of the product, and how well it presented at our sushi party!!! Held our sushi rice well after we prepped it in the bowl. Bowl cleaned up nicely and was not a giant mess. Would recommend for your sushi party.

A nice addition to all of my sushi gadgets. Before I was putting the sushi rice in a mixing bowl, adding the sushi vinegar and then emptying it onto a wooden cutting board and draping it with a towel on top to cool. Now it’s one step. Does a great job. Great quality of wood and workmanship. The sushi rice was perfect! Very happy with it!

This works really great and keeps the sushi rice nice and fresh for a long time. It's a very useful size for mixing, seasoning & prepping sushi. It took me a while to decide to get it but I'm glad I did. It cleans up easily and dries quickly. It adds an "authentic" feel to my sushi making. I make sushi a couple of times a month and it gets plenty of use and is holding up well.

Plastic bands. Easy fix. Overall happy.

Shipping was very fast. The wood itself is perfect and smells amazing. Very good quality!

Good for getting my feet wet but the lid warped so bad after 3 uses the wooden rails popped on the top. Maybe I missed some maintenance instructions in my haste to use but that is a bit of a drag, otherwise it has been decent.

The fit of the lid is very sloppy and the finish on the container is poor. The “copper” bands are actually plastic. I would not buy this product again or recommend it.
