Surprisingly brilliant
I made a set of drawers from pallet wood and decided to stain them. Picked this because the price was decent but I didn't have high hopes, as pine is notoriously difficult to get a good even stain on.My initial test pieces were ok, I had used a rag to apply 3 coats, and liked how it looked so took the plunge. But as I had 30 drawers to stain I decided it would be quicker to tip all the stain into a tub, and dunk each drawer and wipe off the excess.Well the results are brilliant, I'm blown away by how they look. I went for the dark walnut stain and if you didn't know any better you probably wouldn't guess it was pine. It stained it nice and evenly, and one dunk gave a nice rich colour so further coats were not needed. Would absolutely buy this again.*If it helps anyone, I sanded to 180 grit first. I did however forget to raise the grain and do a final sand before staining, so as this is a water based stain, it has left some grain texture but it works for me so I don't mind, but something to be aware of

Great results but darker than expected
Replaced my radiator mdf tops with scaffold boards to offer a more country-esque feel. Stained the boards to offer a contrast against the cream of the covers. Thaey look great. All I've done since is wax the boards and when the heating is on the smell is amazing. I've had a few comments on the appearance as they look alot more costly and older than they actually are. As stated as the end stain was slightly darker I also used it on my side board top go create a form of visual match and room tie in.

Brilliant stuff
Bought a much more expensive top oil which was awful and left the table with a white sheen, got this instead and it did exactly what I wanted it to do. New table now looks lovely and at a third of the price.Goes on easily and dries quickly, leaving just the colour and no white sheen behind.

Beautiful colour, easy to apply
Had been advised to use a significantly more expensive product (you know the one) but this has been fabulous. The colour is true to manufacturers picture, not the dreaded orange.I applied to our newly sanded log cabin floors with a long handled roller. So easy to do, so quick. 2nd coat after about 4 hours. ( could have done after 2i think)Very pleased with the results.

Unclear stain colour
Arrived fine and intact but it says light oak colour when I ordered medium oakOn the back label it says medium oak so we are confused and concerned as to whether it is infact the colour we picked outAt the price we want to be sure it's the right one !

Very good coverage, great colour
5l tub of Dark Walnut. Covered 2 large bedrooms, and an office with 2 coats each. Had enough left over for 4 coats on my bed to bring it to the same finish.5l tub of English Oak did my lounge and dining room 2 coats each, with some left over.Note: I had thoroughly sanded the floors first to a bright pine finish. IN order to get a deep finish like these photos, you need to seal with poly/varnish. Without lacquer, the finish is much brighter and matt.I applied with a soaked rag rubbing into grain and wiping off with and dry rag.

No cubre.
