Loved it. Pieces are sometimes hard to cut out they are so small. But beautiful when done.

This is the second miniature house kit I have tried, and like with the first one, the instructions are seriously lacking. Some steps are skipped, and sometimes the written portion is just gibberish. Only buy this kit if you have access to YouTube videos of others constructing the kit. Also, only use the proper glue. I bought Topenca Liquid Silicone, clear craft glue, from Amazon. It works so well. Yes, it tends to be a little "stringy" but it holds quickly, still giving you time to adjust.Also, be prepared if something is missing in the kit. In my case, the "red foam particles" are missing, and they are called for in the construction of about 10 of the small items. I had some red seed beads which I used instead.My kit did come with the music box, but the battery was missing. I bought a package of LR1130 AG10 batteries. It takes two batteries and you stack them like pancakes in the battery case.The dog playing the piano is cute.

I admit I ended up customizing a lot of it to make a witch cottage (thank you, Michaels, for being the crafts store that you are), but the pieces I did use from the kit were good quality. To my knowledge, no pieces were missing, and the lighting worked. I had no idea what battery to use (when I opened the little round battery box thing, I just knew it was supposed to be very tiny. I get that they can't ship batteries over, but it would have been nice to know what kind of battery I'm supposed to buy on my own.) I ended up hooking the wires up to a battery box that used AAA from another DIY kit.) Also not great that it doesn't just come with acrylic sheets to make a display case, nor a music box, because there is a hole on the center wall hidden behind the cupboard for a music box. All in all, though, good set.

I made this for my 3 year old niece for a pre-Christmas treat and she adores it! She actually got a call yesterday that the lights went out and she needs new batteries.The kit was super enjoyable to put together. High quality print-outs and all the components fit together with minimal futzing.I will say that when you glue the roof pieces together you may want to tape it to the base to dry. The angle was a little steep to set right on, so I had to separate that seal so it would fit down on the house angle

Three weeks of patience and I finished building this great miniature for Christmas display. The battery I have to look for it’s not AA or AAA. The instructions are backwards - always build the house first before the interior. I had to go from the back of the booklet to the front but they came in English. Really happy with the end result and everyone loves it! So much detail and enough room to have some of your own creative choices as well!

I made the product for myself; I like miniatures. I felt that some of the wiring holes were a bit small to work with. Directions for testing bulbs need improvement.

I received instructions in English, it was a very detailed booklet, but its basically pictures anyway. The roof though and walls, holy molly- my beautiful tiny home collapsed and all i have are my adorable accessories. It was my first attempt at making this stuff and its so much fun and the kit had everything, but there was no battery for the lights and it doesn't say what type of battery to get :-( not sure if it would even work anyway. so i give it 3 stars bc with all the glue i used that didn't work it ruined the roof and walls and i have no house just cute accessories :-(
