Battery life not real good.

Worked fine right out of the box and overall quality is better than anticipated. My only nit-pick is minor and the same with many flashlights where you have to cycle the switch through all modes in order to it turn off but this item is large enough to have a better arrangement. Separate ON/OFF switch along with a slide switch for mode selection (low-hi-red) would be ideal but would add to the cost for sure.Really like the red flash feature, we used it as a traffic warning for several hours straight and it was still very bright.

The light itself is very bright and the hooks on the end are spring loaded and clamp well to a hood. The bending function is nice too. However there is no way to angle the light further back to the firewall. That's not a big deal though most of the time. The reason I give it 3 stars is because of the fact that the light does not work while charging. That's problematic when I am doing a job that takes more than a few hours. Because if you don't have the light fully charged and ready to go it won't last the whole time and it takes a long time to recharge.

I have had this for a few weeks now. This is a review from a technician at a dealership. Got this light for the folding aspect of it. Doing engine work and dash work this light is great. The charge is not the longest, but on high it dose last right at three hours. Not trying to say other reviews didn't get a bad battery, but when you first get the light it has a charge and you are supposed to run it down till it cuts off and then fully charge. Just did a top end rebuild with low white setting to see how long it would stay lit, it was about 5 hours. Hope everyone that got bad lights get fixed or refunds but mine as a dealer tech works as its supposed too.

Decent surge protector for the price....my only criticism is if you want to mount this surge protector on a wall, it would have been nice to have bigger mounting holes on the back....if the head of a screw is slightly bigger than the hole, you can still probably mount it but you kind of have to angle it and then snap it in...a little difficult when your mounting it with two screws

A little disappointed with this purchase. I thought I would be able to plug it in and still be able to use it at the same time. But that is not the case. It produces a nice amount of light, but I have yet to see how e battery actually lasts. I am using it in an enclosed trailer over a bench. Good quality, but it could be improved.

I like it a lot, lots of uses, easy to keep charged, only set back is that the battery doesnt seem to last a very long time on a full charge. Maybe a couple hours. Which is great for roadside, but if you expect an 8 hour run time, its not for you

It's OK, lights up under the hood for what you need but the battery is awful. I charged it when I got and it used it a hand full of times and I only get like 15 min of battery before it's completely dead and I have to charge it again.
