Tight and then some, Just too big.
After ankle surgery needed to wear support socks to attempt swelling control. These were twice the compression of the 20. They are hard to get on and off, but THEY WORK. ONLY WISH they were available in a smaller size. The medium is too big for a female 7-7.5 shoe size. Sock is designed (good design) to provide maximum compression around ankles. Excess material in sock foot leaves the option of not utilizing the extra compression around ankles because the sock has to pulled up the leg higher to reduce bulky material or leaving excess material on foot portion can cause pain.

Quality Compression Socks
I broke my foot a few years back and started wearing compression socks. It can be difficult when shopping on line, and happy when I found these. They go on well, and are very comfortable. Any swelling that I had during the day is gone when I wake up. (I wear them mostly at night.) I also plan to take them when I travel to Europe. They will work well for the long flight. Would recommend.

Decent I Think
I am very short (4’10) so these want to go past my knee, but are so tight that they cannot. I have to roll the cuff down to sit under my knee. I bought these because I have POTS and my doctor wanted me to start wearing 30-40 hg compression. Now I’m a very small woman, I wear an XS or a 2 in pants, and these are so incredibly tight around my calf that they go numb. The foot part is also extremely tight to the point where I can’t move my toes very easily. I think they’re very cute for the price but I guess I’m still figuring out my compression needs.

Graduated pressure!!! Easy to put on and not too expensive.
I just got them, I didn't even know they existed but previously considered putting knee highs over thigh highs for the graduated effect. I appreciate the graduated pressure after surgery in my thigh and some pain left in my foot. They're thicker than many compression stockings I've worn in the past and don't cost as much. They don't have any rubbery adhesive on top which helps them slide on easier though that often gave my thigh highs a better chance at staying on, I haven't had any problem with them sliding down yet.

Not the best for me
These did not compress well. They stayed up but I don’t feel they were much more than knee high socks.

These actually work on removing foot swelling!
I’ve spent a small fortune on my quest, to find a great pair of compression socks. These do what none of the other brands I’ve tried have done … completely removed the swelling in my foot with its graduated pressure. These are not “my” perfect pair, for they are just not long enough in length to cover my entire calf, which most other pairs of socks have comfortably done. Sigh! The quest continues …

Great deal
Great deal for compression socks. Better than the name brands. At over $100 a pair for name brand. These socks are better-feeling and a whole lot cheaper.
