I need more!!!!
Even though they are made of hard sturdy plastic they have saved my plants from my destructive water hose. I need to order more as my all plants get bigger. As for installation I recommend soaking hard ground first. The ones I have now definitely need to be moved just a bit (as my plants are no longer babies) and I didn't get these in the ground and straight. (that is on my to-do list). I do recommend these but I also caution carefulness with them as they are not metal. They look great and would and will definitely purchase more.

Won’t buy again
These just did not work for us. Maybe it was their locations, but most of them have broken within the first year of use. We have removed half of them, and we will probably remove the rest of them in the Spring. You have to be careful about where you place them, and they won’t take any abuse without cracking or breaking. Buyer beware.

The spikes are easy to install but also easy to uninstall - if the hose is at the wrong angle, it will pull the spikes out of the ground. You really have to line your hose up just so in order for these to work.

Too delicate for my purpoeses
Love the idea but not study enough for my yard. I broke almost all of them with my mower. If you can post them out of the way the work as intended. I needed the to hold my lawn mower cord and ended up breaking them.

A perfect choice... Good price and a few replacements for when I chew one up with the lawn mower.
The price is way better than purchasing individual hose guides. And with six provided with this purchase, I'm ready for the NEXT time I chew up one of my hose guides with the lawn mower again. (I didn't think I was that close to it.)

Important where to place them
They just work as they are not that large and the hose can slip off if not placed correctly. They also can get in your way.

Great Product
Love these! The size is a bit large so the hose never falls off. The sit low enough near the surface of the ground that they are not obtrusive. I will be buying another set next year for our second hose. These are all plastic, so if you want to put them in a less secluded spot they may not hold up, but my purpose they have met and exceeded my expectations.

Cost-effective
Blends in fine, but fragile. After one season, half are broken, most of the rest are chipped. We're rough on them for sure, but just understand you're not getting anything permanent here.
