You can read my initial review below.I initially purchased this purse to use as a tote for study supplies including a binder. The dimensions listed are for the overall leather size and do not take into account the insert which brings the actually usable size down by inches. So I decided to use it as a purse instead and this is when the issues with it became evident.1: The main zipper is very difficult to zip and will often stick about a third of the way closed.2: The inner pouch is an insert and is merely attached at the rivets. This puts a lot of strain at those junctures and I anticipate that the rivets will eventually pull out or cause the leather to stretch rendering the pouch useless.3: The insert's side pouches where are shallow and fail to accommodate my phone and pens The pouches are best suited for smaller items.On a personal note, I usually purchase crossbody bags with wider straps so the two narrow straps are new for me to try out. The narrow straps do stay securely on my shoulder, but I find that they also cut into my shoulder making it uncomfortable to use for a shopping excursion.I also had previously stated my concern for trying to find items in the black inner lining, but the openness of the purse and shallowness of the inner pouch have made that detail a non-issue.I would only recommend this purse if you don't have much to carry and you need something affordable. I have been using the outer pouch for my phone, but since the outer pouch doesn't zip, I'm not pleased about that and I will be returning to my old purse.INITIAL REVIEWTHE POSITIVES:It is spacious enough to accommodate a binder and various supplies such as index cards, pens, and markers. ,The overhead zipper grants security by providing closure to all compartments.It has organizational pouches and compartments.Great price for quality and genuine leather.THE NEGATIVES:Slight odor to the leather which I'm sure will dissipate over time.Interior fabric is black making it difficult to find smaller items.I chose this tote over a messenger bag because I'm partial to bags with easy access to the opening and messenger bags generally have a flap to work around. The purpose for my purchase is to haul around a binder and various supplies like index cards, marker, pens... The overhead zipper reduces the width of the opening so everything fits snugly when the binder is placed in it, however, I still like it and am willing to work with it.OVERALL:I like this tote, the leather is supple and I may end up using it as an everyday purse. I am a huge fan of purses and totes that have a lighter colored fabric in the interior making it easier to find smaller items and the fact that the interior is black is truly my only disappointment; however the price, quality leather, overall construction, and organization outweighed that fact. The only reason I gave it four stars is due to the black interior fabric.

LOVE the purse just really was expecting it to be just a little bit bigger. It has the insert that is your organizer and though it helps with organization, it makes the purse much smaller than it appears.

The only thing I liked about this purse was the size. I am returning this item due to the horrible smell. It smells like gasoline and has an almost oily feel to the inside of the purse. But the size was exactly was perfect.

I like it. Nice and soft, lots if room. The inside zippers are a bit cheap feeling.

It's a nice purse for the money. The inside fabric is kind of cheap feeling though. As others have remarked, it does have a strange odor.
