These shoe clips are wonderful!I was going to my niece's destination wedding in Big Sur out in the beautiful Redwoods. Everyone was warned to either wear flats or very low heels due to where the ceremony was taking place. Even though the ceremony was outside, the reception was fairly formal. I was wearing a tea-length chiffon dress with some beading. As you probably know, it's really hard to find a low heel navy blue dress shoe with a little bling. I found very comfortable low heel shoes, but they were too plain. So I started looking for a shoe clip that would fit what I envisioned. I bought 5 different clip pairs, and these clips made the shoes look great. They are very well made, easy to clip on and they stayed in place all night. My sister couldn't believe how good they made the shoes look. They had just enough bling to go with the beading on my dress without being too much.Now I can wear those shoes to work or clip these babies on and wear them to any dressy occasions I choose.

These shoe clips were, as others said, even nicer looking in person. They're well-made, with just enough bling to look dressy but not flashy. But as MANY others said, the clips are so flimsy they don't stay on the shoes. Because my shoes are fabric, the clips wouldn't clamp down at all and slid right off before I took a single step. But I found an easy solution: I put a soft black velcro dot on the top of the vamp where the clip would go and another directly below it on the underside of the vamp. This thickened the fabric considerably in that one area and gave the clip something to clamp onto. Problem solved, though the clip is still flimsy, which sometimes makes it feel like it's going to fall off.My order also contained a different set of shoe clips from another vendor. These others are smaller and more delicate, yet even they have bigger, stronger clips that grip tightly even to thin fabric. Why put in all the workmanship to make something so elegant and gorgeous, then cheap out on the substructure?

I love these. A good black. Nice quality. Shoe clip is perfectly made. Shoe feels like it’s without the clip. Nice quality and just as pictured. Very nice transformation for a black pump.

I’d buy these again but other customers were right. The clips themselves are very poorly designed. I don’t have a major heartburn over it the ballet shoes I wear them with fit snugly and I don’t lose them when walking. But they potentially could fall off. As to the ascetics they wonderful , not too dressy but would still be formal enough for a gown.
