The size is as stated
The edges are not fine enough for very close in work.

Picture misleading, filing surface uneven and bitty
Although measurements in inches are advertised nobody can prepare you for the small size of these. Added to that the "rough" surface is not even and cheap cheap cheap.. Not worth the money at all.

Love these. I use them for taking small bits off mug handles. Sometimes you miss a small spot when cleaning up a mug before firing. These little files can mean the difference. I’ve made hundreds of extra dollars because of these files.

The file set works nicely on small tasks such as sharpening the hardened steel of a small wire cutter. The diamond coating, however, is more coarse than I would have liked. The files are very small but for the price, I can’t complain.

The cut part of the file is less than 2”. If you are filing into something (like a pipe or tube) your file stroke will be 1-1.5”. You may opt for something 8-10” long for a longer cut & less strokes
