WOW!
Ok, I didn't expect this...this is 1/8" larger in diameter than the item it replaced and it appears HUGE compared to what it replaced (Chrome covered 1/2" rusty spit rod from original equipment--not impressed with chrome peeling off!). Very well made, MUCH beefier than the original it replaced that was bent because I "overloaded" it with 2 chickens. I can put a half a cow on this and it would not bend I'm sure! Very nice and stainless steel. So far so good. Appears to be very well made. Wish they made a spit rod a few inches shorter from the 45 inch but hey ho...time to buy a half a cow! ;-)My handle fit, my counter balance fit, and it fit my motor drive. Got to love it. Impressive replacement spit for sure. Very pleased with the purchase.

Super sturdy but not 5/8
Awesome spit rid but it's not 5/8. I measured flat to flat surface of hexagon and got 3/4 inches. I would have needed new prongs andotor housing. It is also pricey almost 100$. On the plus side solid ...u could probably bbq a cow on it. I had to return it. Seller and Amazon were very responsive in resolution. Also fast shipping 3 days to East Coast.

One HD Durable BBQ spit rod, indeed!
Yeah it is one heavy duty spit rod! Most awesome at doing its job to hold mass quantiles of food without bending, sagging, and the like. If you want a good quality spit rod, I would highly recommend this stainless steel grill spit rod. NOTE: you will need to buy/purchase the 5/8" accessories -- as the smaller spit rod diameter accessories will NOT FIT this rod, period! Good grilling to all you Master weekend warriors BBQ cooks!

Worked for me
The media could not be loaded. Had to cut the end off to make it fit in my rotisserie motor but no big deal.

Esto no es lo que se ofrece es muy chipi
Esto no es lo que describe el título no sirve la conexión para el motor es algo muy chipi no se que hacer con este pedazo de metal es muy delgado y no acopla con el motor y te lo venden junto como si fuese a servir el acoplamiento
