Great Value! Substantial and beautiful
Solid brass clock, not brass plated, and is heavier than it looks, perhaps a couple pounds. Requires one AA battery, not included. The quartz mechanism appears similar to what you can buy in a hobby store if you need to replace it, but may this be higher-quality. The brass clock itself will last a very very long time. The clock is deeper than I expected at 2 1/4 inches, which means it will stand out from the wall a bit more than I expected, but it does give it a very substantial look and is worth it. The brass is polished to a nice finish . Three 1/8” holes for mounting on the wall. My unit did not come with screws. We will use it in our sailboat, mounted on a cherry wood plaque. The clock does make a very soft ticking sound, although at night, hanging on a sailboat wall, it may sound louder. This clock looks like it cost much more.

Great clock for the money
Great little clock for the money. Well made of metal with a nice brass finish. Bezel screws off and has a moisture guard. Unscrews well if a bit crude milling. Over 5 days very accurate time. It is dead quiet. The second hand sweeps, it doesn’t click. I’m very pleased. Buying another for my office. Battery access from open back only. No mounting gear included.

Price was right
Nice clock, mounting screws would have been appreciated. Go to Home Depot first.

Good for about 6 months
After about 6 months it started losing time of about half an hour a day. I installed it on my boat but it sure can't be used for navigation. The brass case is nice enough but the clock mechanism is a cheap piece of junk.

you get what you pay for
Kept time reasonably well for about six months then started losing time and going through batteries. 2 year later it stopped. New battery but still dead. Too bad ,its a nice piece but suspect the clock works is a piece of crop. Looking to replace works. Also the clock face is cheap paper. You get what you pay for I guess...

An Excellent but Cheap Solution to the Ship’s Clock Problem
This is the second one of these I’ve ordered; the first one, I damaged by trying to turn the hands backward, to reset it. The problem is caused by the fact that the clock is screwed onto the wall; to reset it for Daylight Savings Time, you don’t really want to have to unscrew it from the wall to get to the knob to adjust the time (twice a year). Anyway, both clocks have been beautiful, and kept time perfectly (quartz movement).

Person I gave it to loved it. I also got one for me
Gave it as a present. Person I gave it to loved it. I also got one for me. I love it Had initial problem that company bent over backwards to fix problem. Clock has been working perfectly. Brass case is heavy and well-made. There is not a back to the brass case so it must be put on wall or someplace where you can't see the black. Glass dial is not very well-made and I accidentally broke one and ordered another one which is very easy to do Overall I highly recommend the supplier and recommend the clock. Very similar to the clocks that cost three or $400.

Just a replica not a real ships clock
My husband was a little disappointed with the size he expected it to be as big as the ones aboard all the ships he sailed on in the Navy

Beautiful clock
We bought this for a replacement for our boat, it looks great and the seller were excellent to work with, I would recommend this clock and the company that sells it.

Pass on this item
Actually the clock is much smaller than what I had expected BUT the problems are that the outside rim of the clock sticks out so screwing it into the wall must be done on an angle, the whole face rotated within the housing - not secured and lastly whenever you need to adjust the time you have to unscrew it as the only adjustment is on the back vs being some place that is more easily accessible.... not a good design would NOT recommend it.
