As others have written the product I received didn’t have the lettering as bright and bold as in the product pic. When I first saw it I thought the font and size of the words weren’t even the same because it had so little impact, but perhaps it was just the lackluster coloring. I don’t remember if I ever left a negative review before, but this product compared to the pic was very underwhelming. I’d return it but there’s not enough time to get something else for my brother in law before Christmas.

BUT... I did read them later that day after I purchased it and I searched all kinds of information online about what I could do to salvage the mug once it got here and went with a polyurethane... long story short, the polyurethane messed up and so I decided if I messed the mug up removing it I would just buy another and tell my husband not to use it to drink out of so we wouldn't have to wash it. Not only did I scrub the mug with enough force to peel a dozens layers of skin off of a person I scraped the messed up polyurethane off with a razor blade and none too gently either after a while and and happy to say the mug looks like new and the lettering on it is still absolutely perfect!!! Thankfully for me it all worked out. Whatever they used to do to put the lettering on they obviously do differently now and it isn't going to start flaking off even before a good washing. SO... don't let all the other reviews worry you or talk you out of buying this, if you like it! LOVE IT!!!!

My family is a people who love mugs. We're all obsessive coffee drinkers. When I found this mug I immediately thought of my Brother-in-Law. He has his doctorate in Chemistry and is currently working on a team studying particle physics. I like science, but his work goes over my head, and just like the science my brother-in-law does, the humor of this mug went way over my head. But I knew that flux was a science term, and the phrase "No Flux given" sounded like it should be funny.I was right. He loved his mug! He said it was hilarious and appropriate, although it wasn't directly in his field, he said he understood it and loved it.The mug is exactly as described. As it was a gift, I can't speak to the quality of the product, but it had a good weight to it. It didn't feel fragile or too heavy.

Arrived quickly. No damage and the company shipped it well packaged. There styrofoam in it to help keep it from breaking or moving. Looks just like the picture and advertisement. Very happy with it. It’s a gift for my step dad who is a huge lord of the rings fan.

Needed to get a new mug for work as mine "grew legs". I found the mug itself to fell somewhat cheap, it is very light for its size (hold about 12oz of liquid). There is not necessarily anything wrong with that, I have other mugs about the same size that are easily twice as heavy so this one may not retain the heat quite as long and that may be a concern for some. The printing is on both sides of the mug and it looks very high quality (sharp edges, dark black and vibrant red/green). Time will tell how the paint will wear but what I see is a good start.

I hate to say the top of the handle had a small unglazed portion. We had to send it back but that's not really a problem. I'm sure the replacement will be fine.

Great pair of ear buds for the money. Granted they are not air pods, but also they do not cost as much either.

Love the mug!! A picture says a thousand words so I have attached a picture. I like my coffee without cream or milk and with just some sugar. Pure organic cane sugar is preferred. I ordered several mugs from Penny Lane Gifts. They are all as promised. They are pretty great quality too. They come in a gift box which is nice for packaging and to protect the mug, but I purchased them for myself. They are awesome mugs, they fit the Keurig machine just fine. Lastly, they are DISHWASHER SAFE!! :)

I bought this as a gift for my daughter, however did not expect it to be soooo small ! I thought it was overpriced to begin with ($36) but after receiving I felt like I have been taken advantage of . The reason I bought it because it was unique and she likes the character Smiegel from Lord of the Rings so I thought she would find it humorous, however I did not realize it was only 11oz size, barely a couple of mouthfuls. At best this thing should retail for $10 based on size, not $36 !
