I’ve always liked this brand and have bought it in-store before without any problems. To save a bit, I ordered a larger pack on Amazon—but this time, the experience was terrible. The rice had a strong, unpleasant smell, almost like it had been soaked in chemicals or stored near rat poison. I rinsed it multiple times and even soaked it overnight, but the odor didn’t go away. Once cooked, it still had that same disturbing smell. I have no idea what happened with this batch, but it’s hard to believe a product in this condition is being sold. I ended up throwing out the entire pack after trying it twice. A total waste of money.
