We live on a lake. And with a lake, you get bugs. Not just bugs, but wasps and dirt-daubers.We learned that if you put out peppermint oil, the flying stinger bugs will find someplace else to nest.So....when I saw these, I figured they would be GREAT to put a couple of cotton balls in them, add the peppermint oil to the cotten balls....and hide them under / over / around the patio furniture.Not only did that keep them away.....the little bowls are just plain cute decorative patio !!5 Stars from me!!

I bought these to use with small plants. They worked out just as I expected. But the bamboo trays worked fine inside the house… not so good on my porch, they mildewedSo I threw them out! Otherwise a good buy.
