Nicely made
I absolutely live this trivet. It's pretty thick so I actually put it on the top of my stove. It's made out of real pieces of wood that are beautifully arranged into a design. I use it everyday and it looks like new still. It smells like real wood I love it. I wish it was just a bit bigger.

Pretty and Unique
Very pretty. I bought two of them for Christmas presents, and both recipients were very happy with them. The pieces are always laid out as shown in the photo, but the woods used and their colors are different, making each one unique. There is no finish on the wood, so it has a lovely smell. To some eyes, that could give it a slightly unfinished looks, though, I suppose, as the trivet is essentially woods pieces glues together. Still, both I received were beautiful and I would certainly purchase again, for myself or for a gift.

Love them, but they don't work for me
I love these for the design and the fact that they are natural wood. But I need trivets that work around hot water, and these lose bits of wood and warp when wet. So, I am disappointed, but it's my own fault for liking the look and hoping they would work instead of thinking it through. I believe I have to switch to bamboo for my purposes. I'm sure if I only needed them as hot surface trivets, I would be very happy. But since I'm using them around tea and coffee service, they don't work for me.

This is a great coaster, made of real wood
This is a great coaster, made of real wood, very beautiful and solid. Big enough to be put under cattle or pot. Our previous one was plastic and smelled awful when heated. This one reminds me my grandmother's house full of wooden kitchen items having the same wonderful smell.My wife loves it immensely.
