I disliked these so much I just handed them to Dave, the local 711 homeless guy. I went in for a slurpee the next day and he gave them back to me-_-

These shorts are cut in a way that may not work for many American buyers. I sent back two different sizes after trying my best to make them work out. The legs are cut very skinny relative to the waist, so if you have a large waist and skinny legs these will be perfect. If you have more muscular legs then you might not even be able to pull them up. This is too bad, since the other features including the zipper pockets and quick dry material were just what I was looking for.

Three things I like about these shorts:#1 You can see in the picture of the outside of the shorts that there is a black triangle of stretchy material at the corner of the pocket. It allows me to put something a little over-sized into the pocket without the usual uncomfortable tug.#2 You can see in the picture of the shorts turned inside-out that there are three pockets on the left side. The pocket material is thin but really strong. When I travel I like to be able to feel what is in my pockets so I know that I still have what I should--pocket knife, keys, etc. These shorts work well in that aspect.#3 I ordered 4 pair of these shorts in varying sizes for my sons for a family trip this summer. Two of them were not able to try the shorts on until AFTER the the Amazon return policy had expired. The Vcansion Customer Service Department did not let that get in the way of my satisfaction--they made things right when they were not obligated to do so. Kudos to them.

I gave three stars because the zipper broke on the first day of use. I had bought these shorts to use at a six flags theme park. I wanted to put my wallet and cell phone somewhere where they wouldn’t fly out of my pockets. The zipper on the front broke almost immediately after I arrived at the park. But not to worry, I had the Velcro strapped pocket which worked perfectly. I also had a zipper pocket in the back that also worked out well. Other than that, the shorts where a little high. But not too high. They came just to my knees. The things I liked about these shorts is the light weight material. It was very comfortable, especially since it was a 100 degrees the day I went to six flags and used these shorts. If you plan on buying these shorts, keep in mind that the zipper on the front is kind of weak and subject to break. The Velcro pocket however is great.

I would describe these as VERY scratchy parachute material. I am 5' 8" 210 well-built wide linebacker type.. I ordered 36 since I'm right at 35, definitely should have ordered 34 if they were in stock. The crotch literally hung down to my knees however, I would have to wear these like Urkel to look right. Sent back.

Truly liked these at first and took them to NZ with me to hike and....... the closed loop clasp (not a snap, not a button, but a linking clasp) broke the first day! NO mention is made about the closure and upon inspection, it’s a very cheap closure of the kind found on costume jewelry..... would have returned them but tossed them out in NZ rather than carry them around for the next 3 weeks. Thank GOODNESS they came with a belt!

I purchased these for my fiancee. He wears a 34" length in pants and shorts are usually a little too short for his liking, but these were just right in length. They are made well, color is exact to picture, & size fit perfectly. They held up well at the beach during a company BBQ and later playing in the sand and surf with the kids. The belt it came with is pretty cheap, so he wore a nice belt with them and they looked great! He said they were comfortable and dried quickly despite the day being 80+° and humid. I'd recommend them to a friend and buy them again.

I wear these to work where I spend the majority of my time outdoors with animals getting dirty and frequently wet. Initially I was concerned with how thin the fabric was and how flimsy the zippers appeared. But I have to say, they have held up to the abuse. A couple of times the zipper has broken, but I ran it back down to the bottom and it came back up zippering perfectly! They are not fashionable but they are durable and dry fairly quickly considering the pockets and flaps. I recommend them for hot, humid days when you need to work outdoors.
