Works perfectly!
added this to keep my leg from melting while riding. Works perfectly. You do need to buy a special aerosol spray to keep it looking black but the instructions tell you exactly what to get.

You don't need to crimp metal zip ties
I really like the way it changed the look of my bike I had Rust issues on my exhaust pipes and only the tips were still chrome left 9 inches exposed on both and wrapped the rest

Exhaust Heat Wraps
x2 RollsBought these to use on my bike to give my exhausts a better look and also since I have an older bike, they have developed some small holes so I have exhaust leaks on both cans.. so this also covers them up and seals them in the process. I bought 2 rolls and they only covered what you see in the pics. 1 roll per side and that's how far they went. If you're intending on wrapping your entire exhaust, including your headers, I suggest you buy at least 2 more rolls to save yourself some time in the long run. For the price, you can't beat it. Of course if you only have 1 can instead, then you would obviously not need at least 1 of those rolls. Best advise I got is soak them in hot water and unwind them before you wrap, and definitely use gloves (I didn't and it was a mistake haha) also buy yourself some heat coating like it recommends so your wraps don't turn white from the heat! A little pro tip! Definitely recommend hands down.

The wrapping looks good on my bike
The wrapping looks good on my bike. I have noticed when I ride hard and heat it up the wrapping smokes quite a bit. I’ve rode a couple miles will update how many miles until it stopped smoking once it does.

Exactly as expected
I finished wrapping my bikes exhaust and it did reduce the heat significantly especially with no heat shield on. Had to wet it before the process and took a ride after doing it, it produces a lot of white smoke with a smell on first ride but only for like 20 minutes then it stops. As for quality and durability we will have to wait and see.Oh and word of warning, DO NOT LET IT TOUCH YOUR SKIN!! I had protective apron and goggles and long sleeves and jeans and yet somehow it got to my arm, itches like hell and annoys everytime it touches anything, but I had to rinse it a few times with soap and water to get rid of it.

Lots of loose fiberglass
Be careful and only use this on area or things that barely gets direct skin contact. This wrap has a lot of loose fiberglass fibers so you will be itching for days. Trust me because I am still scratching.

Great product
A customer wanted to give his truck a different look, header wrap on the rock sliders (don’t worry, this truck won’t go off roading). All the negative reviews are from people who don’t know how to use the wrap. First thing, get a bucket of water, leave the wrap rolled up and drop it in the bucket for at least 30 minutes. This helps keep the glass dust down as well as makes it more flexible. When applying the wrap, it helps to have the item you’re wrapping in a stable vise or mounted to something solid (not the vehicle). When wrapping, overlap no less than 1/2 inch and keep it pulled tight!I used black stainless screw clamps to secure the wrap on my application, but the ties they provide would also work.Once the wrap is dry, heat treat it, I use a torch, it helps burn off the ends of the glass, as well as makes it more resistant to the elements.I also bought the spray to treat it to help maintain the color as well as protect the wrap (remember these won’t get hot, and are exposed to the elements). If you take your time, go through the websites to learn how to use this product, you’ll see that it’s a solid product.Lastly, make sure you’re wearing gloves and other protective gear if you don’t want to be itchy for a couple of days.
