PARTS 2 x solar post light 2 x earth spike OPERATION Rotate and remove the solar battery box from the cone lamp. Turn the light on by turning on the power switch on the battery box. The light can be tested by placing your hand over the solar panel at the top of the light. Leave the light to charge in sunlight for 8 hours with the switch on. Any cover that shades the solar panel will affect its ability to absorb sunlight and charge the light. Place the light in a dark location. The light will activate automatically once darkness is detected. BATTERY MAINTENANCE Battery should not be stored unless fully charged. If you plan to turn the unit off for a long period of time, please charge the unit for 10 hours and then turn the light off. BATTERY REPLACEMENT The battery is 1.2V 600mAh Ni-mH rechargeable battery pack which can be easily replaced. Open the lamp by removing the three screws, disconnect the old battery and carefully connect the new battery.
