I was absolutely amazed at the magnetic qualities of this beautiful bar. I believe I read a warning about watching that your fingers aren't in the way when you place this bar. Just to try it I put it on the side of my refrigerator. About two inches away it instantly grabbed onto the refrigerator. I couldn't budge it! I had to open the freezer door and slide it, (with quite a bit of effort), to get it off. It also has a stainless steel backing with the hanging holes drilled in to it that you can actually use as a stencil for hanging it. Very convenient. I ended up placing it on the side of my refrigerator, which is right by my work area. It is really nice looking, and absolutely no fears about the knives sliding off! My cousin saw it and I had to order one for her too. I highly recommend this bar. I don't know how I lived without it!

I needed to clear some drawer space and thought a magnetic knife holder was the way to go. Oh yeah! Love this thing! I was limited on the length, or I would've ordered an even longer one. Knives and other utensils are within easy reach while I'm cooking. And I have more space in a drawer for other things. The magnet is powerful. Nothing I've placed on it has ever slipped, yet utensils are easy to remove when needed. I would DEFINITELY purchase this again.

this is going to be very strong. it is thick, and is quite heavy. i probably should have gotten the lesser thick and weight. i bought it to mount, not on the wall, but to the under side of my cabinet. it will work nicely there.

I love this. I’m using it in my craft room to hang various scissors and other tools. I’m thinking I need a second one.

Excellent magnetic bar. I placed mine on the side of my refrigerator. I may order more as I accrue more knives.

Used for BBQ knife and utensil holder, magnet is strong but release is easy if utensils are lifted and tilted

I took off the back and placed the bar directly in the refrigerator and it's working out fantastically.

Looks sleek and gets my knives out of drawers and out of reach of little ones.
