Two of original fence caps became brittle and broke. Could not find match easily at local stores. These matched based on descriptions, and were a perfect fit. Definitely sturdy and well- made and slipped right over fence posts. Now all fence caps look alike again.

On the outside, this is pretty much identical to the post cap that broke. The build quality is fine. The plastic feels a little thinner than the original unit and it fits very, very slightly looser, but it fits well enough.Given that these are simple plastic, I would have thought they would be cheaper.On the whole, I'm happy with my purchase and I would buy again if another of my post caps is broken by a falling branch!

These replaced post caps on the front porch. One of the original ones had broken. These new ones were not as beefy or tall as the originals, but they look good enough.

Perfect replacement. Snug fit. Arrived very quickly.

Seems as though made to same specs as to post size BUT there are right angle “stops” inside that limit how far down the post it will sit. These result in the cap sitting about 1/2” to 3/4” higher on the post than the old ones. Some discoloration on the post will likely be visible and … they may fly off in a storm more easily.

I lost a Due to this past winter from the storm. I assumed I just had to call the fencing company to get one. I was told try Amazon well they had it and it was a perfect match and I’m sure I paid half the price.
