I first heard about the author of this book on a documentary programme called "Enemy of the Reich". Noor Inayat Khan was a SOE agent sent to Nazi occupied France to assists resistance fighters. She was extremely brave. unfortunately she was betrayed and caught by the Nazis. She endured torture but refused to give up colleagues. Towards the end of the war she was sent to Dachau. where she was Murdered. A True Heroine!
