CrystaLux XHP50 Series 12,000 Lumen CREE LED Headlight Conversion Kit (9012)

I just bought a 2017 Honda Pilot which comes equipped with miserable yellowish OSRAM filament-style H11 low beam bulbs. Love the car, hated the headlights.These were relatively easy to install and worked as expected.I took photos of where the beam 'cut off lines' were on my closed garage door, with my car in the driveway, no one in it. Then replaced the factory bulbs with these, leaving the car in exactly the same place. New photos reveal beam pattern precisely the same as stock H11 bulbs (I have projector low beam headlights).I am pleased with the super light output and the bright white color. This really helps when driving local 2-lane county roads through the hills. The cooling module, part of the bulb assembly, fit easily as it is shorter than many competing LED kits. I think that's because the 'driver' module is built into the power cable, not into the bulb assembly. My intention is to edit this post in the future if I experience any problems. I had sent the seller a question regarding the necessity for CANBUS resistors and they responded within an hour or two. I'm impressed. It turns out that my car's electrical system 'likes' these units, powering them steady and true, not a hint of flickering or slow startup.Photo of stock H11, installed in driver's side, CrystalLux replacement, BEFORE stock Honda bulbs, and AFTER. This is a truly amazong prodiuct. The lights are bright! I used this to replace my headlights on a 2012 Odyssey Minivan. What a difference! The lights are auto on, and I could not be happier. This is exactly what I was looking for. Since my van is canbus, I purchased the ant-flicker add-on and there has been no codes or strange flickers with the lights. If your vehicle is canbus driven, you must get the anti-flicker adapters. Most vehicles after 2010 are so don't waste time guessing. The lights give me great visibility at dusk/dawn and evening. See pics to see what driving on the highway looks like with these lights at night. Could not be happier.The only thing I have not figured out is if I hit the high beams, why the lights stay one. Usually they went off when the highs went on. Not a bad thisg as it just gives me more visibility. But strange. I would like to replace my fogs with these along with the DRL/HIGH combo lights I have. Not sure if they sell them but would love to get the same type for it. It really does make that big a difference.

9.5/10PROS: The lights are AMAZING! Light output is phenomenal there is a sharp cutoff edge which is great. Anything reflective like a road sign lights up even during the day from far away. What a HUGE improvement over stock.CONS: They're loud. The cooling fans put a hum throughout the whole car. It's like the constant drone of being on an airplane.Overall I am very, very pleased. Also the retailer was very helpful when I had questions.

Good so far ,not as bright as kensun 55w HID lamps ($70) but instant on which I wanted. The inside bulbs are rotatable so if the lights look uneven ,take it out ,undo the set screw , rotate as needed, and reinsert . Youll figure it out. Just wish theu were cheaper. Ill update this if they dont go to their expected life.

Update: One light turned blue with no light output. The other side is flickering and turning blue too. I'm 5 months outside of the paltry 2 year warranty. 2 years is pretty weak for bulbs that cost 3x-4x halogen. No help from seller, just "unfortunately they're out of warranty" and "try switching them around to see if it's a bad connection." Tried it, didn't work, switched them back, and now the dark blue one died completely. Too bad I had high hopes for these lights.Absolutely amazing! Had to tilt headlights down a bit to keep oncoming traffic from flashing me. Very bright and excellent light pattern.

Lights the same as the HID Xenon bulbs. Wouldn't recommend. It's not xhp70Updated after 13 months:Burnt LED on one site and fan stopped working on the other. Seller does not want to give warranty

Excellent quality, even light distribution, very bright. I had previously ordered a less expensive set of LED bulbs for my F150. They were horrible. Lots of dark spots. I am very pleased with the CrystaLux lights.

Works very well and bright, needed the extra control boxes to keep it from flickering.Update these lights are junk, and the company selling them doesn't stand behind there product. Burned out less than 6 months later. Buyer beware, look elsewhere
