Love using these when I'm feeling down
These are my go-to when I'm upset or anxious and I just need more clarity on what I'm actually feeling. There are a lot of different cards with moods I wouldn't have thought of. On the back of each card there are journaling or thought prompts which are really nice!

Very popular with clients
My younger clients enjoy this set - it's sparked some great conversations and explorations. The cards are also good quality. Some of the language, however, is definitely over the head of youngsters, but this also promotes conversation.

I CANT WAIT TO BUY MORE!!!
I just absolutely love these. I use them with some of my dbt clients and almost all of my dbt-a clients. I love them so much, that I bought a set for home to use with my son. My husband who is also a dbt therapist/clinical director at a hospital purchased a set for his office. I plan to buy 4 more in the future for all of the therapists who work at our practice! Love them! I pretty much can purge all of the other cards that are similar. These cards capture their intended need and beyond!

Ideal for children
As a school counselor these are perfect to use with children. The faces and colors on the front make it easy for children to identify how they are feeling and the questions on the back provoke deeper conversation.

Love the creative way to learn!!
As a therapist, these are wonderful. I'm also an EMDR therapist and really enjoy the affirmations. They are great for resourcing positive thoughts to negative emotions. Ordered the Deeper Emotion card. This is great for EMDR therapists. Look past the bad reviews. This isn't a replacement for therapy. It is like a journey.

Great for self-care and counselling
I work as a counsellor and have already found several clients have made use of these, whether it is just using the questions for self-exploration and helping them to describe how they feel or writing the questions (and the answers) and the affirmations to transfer to index cards and carry around and read out through the day.As the cards come with a well written foldout instruction card and, a huge array of moods, from hate to acceptance, stressed to confidant, disappointed to proud, they cover a huge array of different moods and feelings. The design is quite simple with a face and couple of words on a colour which suits the mood and I think the packaging is right and would be suitable for working with clients aged from 8 to 80. It wouldn't just be a professional setting, but I guess they would be good for creating a dialogue between parents and children. The cards are extremely well designed, very sturdy and well packaged so they will last me a long time. I've recommended them to colleagues and would encourage any counsellor or someone who works in the mental health field to invest in a pack for working with someone who either doesn't know what to say or when you seem to get 'stuck' and want something quick and easy to get the conversation flowing.I've looked at them at home and can see myself using the affirmations for my self-care.I've looked at a pack of the Enhanced Mood Cards and they look interesting, but I am more than happy to stick with these for now because they are very user-friendly, both for the practitioner and client, or just for someone who wants to have something to add to their own 'mindfulness toolkit'.

Arrived just in time to use with my clients.
These arrived two hours before my clients session. I had something planned but my gut feeling said to try these cards. I got mum and son to ask each other the questions and then swapped cards and asked the questions again. We only got through 3 cards in the whole one hour sessions. Smiles and tears throughout the session. Brilliant resource.

Great for helping son process challenging feelings
School teacher recommended these for 8-year-old son who sometimes struggles with processing emotions and big feelings. They have really started to help with meltdowns as he finds just the process of laying them out quite therapeutic in itself (suspect he is on ASD spectrum and awaiting assessment). But then eliminating certain cards to eventually narrow down and identify how he is feeling is great. He often struggles to express exactly what he’s feeling but this is a wonderful process to help us all understand where he is and how we can support him. The questions and affirmations on the cards are also a nice touch and he thoughtfully works through these as well.Highly recommend to other parents who may have kids who struggle with big feelings.

Amazing!
Bought these cards for my teenage daughter who is really struggling with exam stress and anxiety. She shuts down and behaviours spiral. Since these cards arrived we have sat down daily, allowing her to select her own cards and ask the questions on the back. She is actually talking to me and opening up…which in turn is preventing the meltdowns. Of course, it could all still be a novelty but for now they’re working! I thoroughly recommend these cards.

The best £10 I've ever spent!!!!!!!!
The best £10 I think I've ever spent, as far as I'm concerned every home should have a set of these. These are so simple to use and great for helping adults communicate with their children and help them to understand their feelings. Such a great tool, I can't recommend them enough. Wish I'd known about them years ago. I only started to use them this week but they have been invaluable and I know soon they'll be looking well used. A must have purchase for any parent!!!!!
