We absolutely LOVE this LED dog collar. I received one at a discounted price to review on Instagram, and purchased a second in a different color myself. I've been looking for an LED dog collar for my black miniature schnauzer since he was a puppy since we walk and run next to a busy road, and I want him to be as visible as possible after dark.The LED dog collar from Pet Industries is just what my dog Sebastian needed. The best feature, in my opinion, is the rechargeable lithium battery (which has lasted through four 1-2 hour walks and still hasn't needed to be charged). The charger port is nicely hidden near the battery of the collar, and isn't obtrusive at all. Most importantly, this collar is also extremely bright. We purchased the bright green collar, and after dark it can be almost blinding to look at if your eyes are adjusted to the dark. I love how visible this makes Sebastian to cars and other people.As far as fit goes, we ordered an XS since Sebastian has a narrow neck of around 12 inches, and it fits perfectly. The collar does have a little bit of room to resize it, but definitely won't fit very small dogs or puppies (any teacup varieties might want to reconsider this collar and try the LED leash from Pet Industries. I'm tempted to try the LED leash along with the collar, but the collar is so bright alone!). I also found it to be a bit heavy due to the metal hardware, but Sebastian didn't seem to notice. Even after we returned from our first hike, he comfortably slept in it (and he's picky about collars). The collar seems very durable, and is extremely well constructed. We haven't tested it around water to report the water resistance, but I will try to update this the next time we take a walk after dark on a rainy day (which seems unlikely). The nylon is very smooth on the inside, which is something I always look for in a dog collar and Sebastian seems to like it!Overall the XS collar is a great collar for my miniature schnauzer! It has one row of LED lights and is incredibly bright! It's a well-made dog collar, sturdy, and it serves a very valuable safety function.You get a wide selection of collar colors and light colors, so you can match your colors to the dog.The collar lights up in three modes: on, long flashing, and quick flashing. You activate it and toggle through the modes with a simple push switch. It recharges via an included USB cable, which would be better if it were at least 12" longer. The USB female plug on the collar does not have a cover/cap, so you probably should not be using this collar in a dirty, muddy, or wet/submersion environment. We had no trouble with this collar in snow, and declined to test it in a dog swim environment.Visibility is excellent at night, easily 100 yards. With the light on, your dog becomes a magnet for attention, and other owners are very interested in the collar; it is a conversation starter, especially at the dog park.The metal hardware is of a nice flat/dull silver matte finish, and looks quite good. The collar secures via a pinch-to-release snap buckle. The sizes are adjustable. We got a large collar for our 80-pound black lab, and it's just about at the far end of extending the size. If your dog is larger you might have trouble fitting this around his/her neck.Price. This is some innovative tech, applied to doggie world. As such, the current price of approximately $28 is pretty good for this item, a fair price.Bottom line: this is a very cool piece of doggie equipment, where the owner can accessorize with a color, and which expertly serves a safety purpose.

I purchased the Aerospace Orange Large collar for my German Shepherd. We live in the PNW where, in the winter the days are so short (it's dark by 4pm), that most of our walks are at dusk or in the dark. My boy is solid black. Needless to say, he needs gear that will make him stand out not only to drivers but also to other walkers. This collar will work great! I have only tested out in the house so far. It is bright enough and thick enough that it stands out even with his thick fur around his neck. I also plan to use it for our overnight camping trips so that he can be seen at night. So, it'll soon be put thru the wringer, although I made a mental note to not let him go swimming with it on because of the battery pack.My only complaint is the buckle. I have to all but slam it together for it to lock. Otherwise, the two sides that are supposed to expand to keep the collar together stay compressed even though the buckle looks like it is connected. Then it just falls open/off my dog's neck. It may just be mine is unique in this issue. It isn't a huge deal for me as his leash will never be attached to this collar and it is purely for visibility purposes. If you are using it to attach your dog's leash, I would confirm that the buckle locks securely before going out with it so as to eliminate the risk of it springing open at the wrong time.
