This mat is very durable and has withstand my little one running around, playing toys on top of it, stepping all over the mat on a daily basis. So far it hasn't gotten out of shape nor has it gotten destroyed or tore up. It has a good thickness and padding to it. We've also spilled baby oatmeal and apple juice on it, and it was easily cleaned up without leaving any stain. This is a must have for any baby play area or enclosed play pen because you know they will fall and trip as they are playing with their toys. It has saved my baby so many times from more serious injuries as we have vinyl flooring.I like that it is reversible so when you get bored of one side, just flip it over for a fresh look! The muted colors are great because I cannot stand looking at the colorful (red, blue, green, yellow) children's play mat - this one is much more calming to look at not to mention it blends in more with our home decor.This particular mat is not travel friendly but it isn't meant to be taken anywhere. It is for use at a permanent area neither would we want to bring it elsewhere. We have a more portable, foldable version for when we go on road trips but this mat stays at our home. If you want to mop the floor underneath the mat it is not too hard to roll it up and prop it against the wall but it is definitely a little heavier than the foldable play mats. The quality is great and it is honestly very durable and will last years to come.

The media could not be loaded.  I’ve ordered a couple of this type of mat since I have 3 toddlers. I was excited about how thick and cushy this one is but I ran into a couple issues that bummed me out a bit. First of all because it comes rolled it was very difficult to get flat. Even after almost a week it’s still not flat. If you try to roll it the other direction to flatten it out you can see the creases. I think I prefer the ones that fold but are a little less soft. This one does feel really nice though. It’s almost like a memory foam but I do notice my feet/knees still sinking all the way through it to the floor. The grey and white pattern is nice and modern but is on the curled side so I can’t really face it up without having the edges curled up. The alphabet side is cute but doesn’t really make sense. It cuts off halfway and starts again and the 2 repeats aren’t placed very well so it’s cut off one one side and has extra on the other. If the cuts had been planned better 2 full alphabets could have fit. Also the light purple color kind of throws the whole scheme off. My 3 year old was so excited to practice his letters but he ended up being very concerned when he realized that a bunch of letters were grouped together and didn’t have pictures to go with. He kept telling me “this one doesn’t have an animal” (see video) over and over again.Besides the look of it I did like that it came with Velcro straps for rolling it up. It also has a bit of texture to it so it’s not slick under feet but it does still slide around on the wood floor underneath. It’s does make a squeaky sound when walking so if your baby is sensitive when sleeping keep that in mind. It also should be pretty easy to clean and being dual sided if one side gets dirty or damaged you can always just flip it over.Overall this may has some great qualities but I don’t think I would order it again.

High quality & nice density foam mat! When I mean it’s nice it doesn’t even hurt my knees when I’m on it playing with my kiddos. I’m a fluctuating weight to of 135-140lbs too so you get the idea.. This mat is sure to last more than a year if not more. Depends how rough your kids or you are with it, unlike those cheaper ones that immediately puncture by just looking at it.I will say it’s costly, but it’s versatile as you can even use it as an exercise mat for like yoga for example. Anyway, cute pattern with the elephant, but not so sure about all the rest with random wording for boy or girl. I should of picked the abc one now that I think about it, but felt the colors were clashing for my living room. Oh wellls

This mat is super thick and plush to walk on. I love having nice mats for my daughter to play on at home and when we go places, especially where the floors aren’t padded with carpet or rugs and/or the floors aren’t quite as clean as I would like. This is by far the thickest and softest one that I own.A couple of things worth mentioning are the space that it takes up and the repeating alphabet design. Being that it rolls up instead of folding it doesn’t store quite as easy. I can’t just slide it under her crib or in a small closet like the others. Also the nautical alphabet print is so cute, but the pattern repeats in a way that you wouldn’t want to use it as a teaching tool. I have another one with the alphabet but it fits the mat so that they letters don’t repeat and don’t appear out of order going left to right.Dispute my issues with storage and printed design, I have to say that this is still my favorite mat of the 4 mats I own because of how plush it is. I would recommend it.

This baby play mat for floor came in a very big box without any damages or problem. The design of the mat is super cute and I order the “elephant” design and it’s super cute in person. The colors and the design is unisex as you can use it for baby boy or baby girl which is really nice and it can be a great gift idea to someone as well. It’s a waterproof play mat so you don’t need to be worried about cleaning it as it’s very easy to clean. The size is pretty big and it’s 6.56 FT by 4.27 FT. It’s very well made and the material is very soft and comfortable for kids to play on.
