Bought these for my snake terranium for extra locks because my snake loves to slither to the top of his enclosure and I am always afraid that he will escape. These clips lock the screen at the top perfectly and it doesn't move.

This is one of those odd things that I was really skeptical about until I bought a set. It just looks too simple to be functional, right? Actually, yes- these are easy to use and they're secure, and getting two sets makes this a great deal.

They fit well. Work great.

People ain’t lyin.... save yourself the time and frustration... don’t bother with any other clips than these. They come with 4 clips but, I know my son and my concern was that he wouldn’t put 4 back on every time.... leaving a point of weakness. Our Spotted Python is in a grow-out tank right now until she’s large enough to move into her large Viv and we’ve been piling rocks on top to prevent escape. 🤣 After a bit of playing around and testing them in different places, I ended up simply putting one on each end of the tank. This tank is BioActive, has tons of soil, wood and rocks so it’s HEAVY. I kid you not, these are so damn secure that you could almost LIFT the tank by the lid. Super easy to take on and off and very sturdy. I will sleep better at night now knowing that sweet Vraska is safe. FANTASTIC product. Took awhile to arrive but WELL worth the wait. I couldn’t be happier with them.

These are a good value, but kind of a pain to open and shut the cage. You def have to conform them to your cage. But if you're like me,and had previously been using random objects to weigh your lid down, then these are for you lol.

This is what you want….get 2 of the pair and you can be rest assured that nothing will escape. I have trouble getting them off but there’s a technique to it and then not so bad to get off.

These clips are perfect for my snake’s tank lid!I’ve read other buyers stating the clips were too small or whatever else. The only thing I can offer is this: Were you patient and looked at the whole picture, or think outside the box? You have to press on them to open the “jaws” a bit. Do this just a tiny bit at a time so as not to put too much stress on the corners. They’re malleable enough to open and close if you go too much either way. They do work, people!Gone are the days of having some random heavy object on one side of the lid and a stupid piece of 2x4 on the other to keep my escape artist (corn snake) from sneaking out!I’ll be ordering these again for whatever other critter I acquire in the future. A job well done on an awesome tool. Also an awesome price for the quantity you get.

Good use if you want to secure a screen top on a normal regular glass aquarium. In my case, I am using it for a 20L aquarium.You will have to learn how to clip on and how to remove, but once you figured it out, it is simple.
