I ordered these garden snips/scissors to go with my WORKPRO 7 Piece Garden Tool Set since the set did not come with small snips. These little garden tools are a delight to use. Aside from being small and compact, they came with a protective shield over the stainless steel tips both preventing injury and preserving the quality and functionality of the tools. I used them to dead head, cut small unwanted sucker growth on plants, chop up perennial trimmings for the compost pile, and prune small plants and shrubs. They are compact fitting nicely into the palm of my hand and do not require undue pressure to cut as they should. I even took some dried up daylily leaves that had been pulled and tried to cut them into smaller pieces with my old garden snips with no luck; the old ones just gnawed at the dried leaves. These little gems, however, just chomped those old leaves right up into little bitty pieces, aaaammmaazing! I have enjoyed using these sharp, efficient, effective little snips and will order again if the need arises. Needed some small pruners for my house plants. I have a small child in the house so I wanted something with a case or cover for the blades just for extra protection. These were a great price for 2 pruners, has a sliding lock to lock the blades in the closed position, and a hard cover that slides over the closed blades. They are very sharp and so far easily cut through the leaves and stems that I've used them on. I have not tried them on thicker/woodier stems or branches but I imagine they would cut through them pretty well. It's a great value for two pruners with blade covers. I'm very happy with these and hope they last!

took awhile to get here but sharp and precise. very easy to use and work well so far. used them to trim off my peppers and flower buds off my smaller pepper plants. fit nicely between hard to reach spots. worth the wait. Sure.

We wanted something to cut with that was small enough to fit in the glove boxes of our cars, and these fit the bill. We really like the ease of use, and the handy cover for the (VERY SHARP!!!) blades. It did not quite deserve a 5, though, because the blades are pretty short. We have other small snips of this type that are more useful and easier to use due to the slightly longer blades. All in all though, we are glad we got them. They cut well, and seem very durable.

Love these! They are small and very sharp. I keep 1 pair in the front yard and the 2nd pair for the back yard.

I'm very impressed with this product! Real value for the price. No need to buy anything that's more expensive because these do the job and do it well! Fine needle-nose tip to use for easy deadheading, but the blade will also cut a stronger stem or branch. The quality is sturdy, they snip very well, and have been perfect for my needs. Such a deal for a pair!

We love these. My spouse has a set in his pocket every day during the growing season (his work pants are full of all sorts of tools daily, he works with his hands) and I have one in my bag daily too honestly - they just come in handy so often! They are sharp enough to get through a half inch branch with a little help and never seen to dull, and I use them to snip open boxes and remove tags in a pinch too! These aren't heavy duty garden sheers but if course not, but when they are this small, but they are mighty for their size and the perfect size to keep on hand for little tasks that come up in and out of the garden.

If you are looking for something small, safe, fits into your hand and easy to use these pruning shears are for you. We bought these to replace our old worn out shears we used to collect flowers out of our garden. The local Garden Supplier and Hardware Store had a variety of shears but were too large and cumbersome for someone with either arthritic and/or small hands. These shears are ideal and there was a bonus in that we got two for the price of one.
