Loved the product, but my car was messed up .

Bought this to add Android Auto/Apple Carplay to the car without adding a second screen. The touchscreen is very responsive and the internal mic works well. I wish it came with an adapter for the car's radio antenna but, no need when you have YouTube Music or Spotify. The CANBUS can work better with the auto headlights, having to turn the lights on/off to make the Maps background match the mode after starting the car. Minor details though. Also bought the compatible rear and dash cam. They need to provide better instructions on changing the rear cam video format.

Got this as a present for my boyfriend and he is inlove with it. He is a car tech so he would’ve 100% said if there’s anything wrong. Some of the reviews say it’s difficult and he did mention had he not known his way around how to do it he can see why it would be very hard for others. It doesn’t come with an instruction manual so if you don’t know how to do it I’d recommend letting someone who does know how to do it. He loves that it changes colors , he got it to all connect properly and be able to use all his functions still from his steering wheel (volume, changing music..etc) , 10/10 !

I will be sending this unit back to Xtron and my money back from Amazon. When installing in my 2008 E350, I come to a stop because in this big pile of wiring harnesses they send, there’s no adapter for the fiber optic that they know you’ll need. They want you to discover this after you have unpacked it and now need to buy for $109. If it was included and the price was higher by that $100 I probably would have found another unit like I will be doing now. It won’t be from Xtron.
