Color color color beautiful color.
The definitive book on T-38 colors and markings, including some little know units. The photographs are beautiful as is the era of USAF displayed.

Saw jets from old Squadron
Very informative. Very detailed. Would have been nice to have had a copy of a checklist.

T-38 Lovers Delight
I was already biased when I order his book becuase I worked on Talons for over six years at Randolph AFB. When I got the book it just took me back to my old flightline days. Excellent photos and very accurate information concerning the Talon. All of the photos taken of the Randolph T-38's were taken while I was there and most of the jets shown I had worked on at one time or another. Of course my only complaint, no picture of my aircraft, but that is okay. This is a must have for Talon fans everywhere from maintainer to operator. You will not be disappointed in this look at the "White Rocket" even if they are not white anymore.

Another great book from Don Logan
As an aircraft modeler, I appreciate books that are filled with color photographs showing an aircraft in several paint schemes and serving with many different units. This book fits into that category. All units which currently fly the T-38 (and a few older units, such as the 64th FTW at Reese AFB) are featured as are all the paint schemes ever worn by the T-38. For the detailed modeler, this book may not be for you, as the Talon's technical detail coverage is very minimal and only a few black and white photos are shown for the cockpit instruments. If you enjoyed Don Logan's hardcover books on the F-15, F-111, and A-10, then you MUST add this one to your library as well.

It truly IS a Pictorial History
This IS a PICTORIAL history. The title does not lie. If you are a scale modeler and are looking for color photographs for paint schemes, this is THE BOOK for you. If you are looking for development history, operational background, or technical specifications, you will find this book wanting. There is a scant 5 pages devoted to the chapter on T-38 Development. Half of those pages are photos. The chapter on Aircraft Description/Systems is only 8 pages long. The Performance specs takes up half a page. The rest of the book is truly T-38 photos. LOTS of really great T-38 photos. There is a pretty detailed accounting (possibly complete accounting?) of tail numbers, and where those aircraft were assigned, and in some cases, their final disposition. I did not know that Boeing owned a T-38, which flew chase for the 777. If you want to see possibly every variant of T-38, this book is for you.

Northrop's T-38 Talon
This is a fantastic photo reference book on the T-38. It is quite a few years old now, and does not include the more recent color schemes being used by the T-38, the grays and black ones. But it does show the short lived blue and white design. And many, many other photos presented in a nice format. This book should satisfy most T-38 fans for a long time.

Well Done !
This is an excellent book on the T-38A , AT-38B and T-38C Aircraft . Many pictures of the T-38 Aircraft at the different bases they were assigned to. A great addition to my Aviation Library. Thank You.
