Style Name:Barronett Big Ox Backwoods The new big ox hub blind from Barronett Blinds features oxhide fabric. This 2-layer bonded fabric maximizes concealment on the exterior with a soft, no-shine, and color rich camouflage layer that is permanently bonded to an ultra-durable, waterproof, woven polyester interior layer which is the ultimate in durability. In addition, the black interior fabric layer creates a dull black backdrop to conceal movement that will never scratch, crack, or Flake off. The big ox includes other Hunter friendly improvements like overlapping 2-Panel windows which allow the Hunter to create any gap at any height, so you'll have the visibility and concealment needed regardless of terrain or shooting position. As you have come to expect from Barronett, the big ox is one big blind, with a massive footprint and over 80 inch in height allowing archers to shoot while standing.

This is the Cadillac of blinds
Large, easy to set up and plenty of space for your gear! This blind is by far the best I’ve owned, the material is durable and quiet. I couldn’t ask for anything better! It definitely passed all my expectations. The blind is not waterproof but water resistant, which holds up (shouldn’t be hunting during a storm anyways) but If you plan on hunting during a down pour of rain, which is highly unlikely, you can always spray some waterproof compound on the seams, I did it and seems to hold up the rain as waterproof material would. This blind will last a lifetime, no doubts about it! Used it on my last two hog hunt trips with sucessful results. It keeps you warm and rain will not be a problem!

Couldn't be happier with Barronett's OX 4
After researching several brands and models of ground blinds I ended up with Barronett's OX 4. Barronett's oxhide fabric is a double layered fabric that is both quiet and waterproof. This was very important as I hunt in Michigan where inclement weather, especially in November and December is normal. This pop-up hud blind is easy to set up and take down. It does take a couple practice rounds to get the hang of it, but is fairly easy to do even alone. It comes with a transport bag with shoulder straps that I found comfortable to wear to haul the blind. It actually fits into the bag well and was easy to mobilize considering the blind weighs in at just over 30 lbs. The zipperless window system works well and is fairly quiet compared to a zipper, however, is not silent. There was plenty of space inside the blind for my wife and myself to hunt comfortably with all of our gear. It blocked the wind well and blended nicely into a hardwood setting with the blood trial camo. It rained, snowed, rained, and snowed again and this blind seemed resilient to everything Michigan had to throw at it and helped me achieve a successful hunting season. The blind appears to be manufactured well and seems durable enough to withstand hunting wear and tear and Michigans weather for years to come. I couldn't be happier with the first hunting season in Barronetts OX 4.

Once again Barronett Blinds has put out an Amazing product. The Big Ox 350 is essentially the Big Cat 350 on steroids. Upgraded with the Ox Hide Technology the Big Ox has the same overall specs as the Big Cat 350. Outside of the obvious Ox Hide the Big Ox also has better corner stitching as awell as better lower edge stitching. It also has some brush holders that seem pretty heavily stitched on and looks like they can hold up to about a 2" branch diamiter. I love the room thats on the inside I had the Grounder 350 and loved the space (windows could of been better on it) but I forgot to take it down after the season and a big branch fell on it, so this was a Natuarl next setp. At 80" in hight, a 90"×90" hub to hub and a 70"×70" footprint floor area you have plenty of room for extra stuff like a heater or camera equipment. Its super easy to fit 3 guys in it even with camera equipment.Im super disapointed in Amazon though. When i ordered it, it was was at $184.70 scence then this has dropped in price but Amazon refuses to adjust the price because its "aganst their policy". I was told to refuse shipment and order the item again and wait for the first one to be returned before they would ship a second one to me at the lower price thats just ridiculous. Every other website I order from and every big box chain will make an instand adjustment with in 30 days of a price drop. For amazon to say "they cant do it cause its aganst policy" is just plane horible customer service.

Wow, it’s amaing!
Well there are no likes or dislikes to this blind... it’s nothing but love for this blind! I’ve used primos and ameristep or however you spell it. But Barronett our does every single one of them with this! The OX 5 is perfect, it’s a heavy duty material that doesn’t feel like it’s gonna just rip apart in the first wind storm. It’s insanely easy to setup, had mine from the bag to setup in under 3 minuets. They beefed up the stakes for securement. But the slides on this inside, ugh sooo nice!!! They take a second to figure out but once you do, there’s no more loud Velcro or zippers.I have the pentagon and it’s a lighter material, and Velcro “shoot through” mesh and I hate Velcro, nothing worse then getting out to the blind and having to change something and hearing that annoying Velcro “rriiiippppp”. This OX5 takes the cake in every way! Ohh I almost forgot, the room inside! It’s incredible, I can fit me, my wife, our two bows, camera and tripod comfortably in this. I’ll defin be buying another one this coming year!

Best Ever
The absolute best blind I've ever had...and I've had many. The solid windows are detachable, providing a near infinite variety of set up options. The material is tough, tough, tough. (Did I say "tough?") The workmanship and quality outstanding from the thick blind material to the carry bag to the wide aluminum stakes. It's also tall enough to stand in -- and wide enough to stroll around inside -- which can make for a much more comfortable and long-lasting hunt. I set up with an outdoor, bar-height swivel stool and fold down the tops of all solid windows for 360-degree visibility. This gives me tons of room below eye level to conceal all movements...and light up a stove, open my ice chest, spread out a chess board, etc....:)

A well-designed blind
This is just a great product. Well-constructed. Easy to set up and almost as easy to tear down. Plenty of room. There is no floor, but a tarp should work fine. The company b.c wisely included a well-made carry bag t h.g at actually includes shoulder straps for portability. Maybe the one thing I didn't like were the stamped metal stakes. I picked up some better quality after-market stakes. All good.Excellent visibility from inside whether for hunting, bird watching, or wildlife photography. And the price is fair.

As described
I used this blind last season for archery deer hunting, had it set up for three months and the roof collapsed once, however there was at least a good eight inches of wet snow on it so it was to be expected and no damage. This blind has been through quite a few heavy winds and stayed in place. This blind is a very well built blind compared to other big brand blinds that i have owned.Pros- huge, excellent for archery hunting with plenty of room for two bigger guys with tons of space to store your stuff.- the ox hide fabric is awesome you can definitely tell it is top notch material compared to other blinds on the market.- before I put this blind out in the bush I sprayed it with a silicone protectant, as I do with all of my blinds it stood up to some pretty significant down pours and it only leaked by 2 seams near the windows barely noticeable.- the brush loops are good solid and sturdy with no issues.- the front window allows for a great view basically 180 degree if not more view. The window system is pretty easy to operate once you figure it out, no zippers or velcro. Hook and loop system and an adjustable attachment to open and close window. The rear peep windows are zipper and can be noisy on a quiet day.- the ground stakes that come with this blind are great, solid and sturdy unlike the cheap flimsy ones that come with the other blinds.- I am 6'2" and I can stand up at the center of the blind however can't shoot my bow from a standing position due to the window position.Cons-The door for this blind has a zipper and very loud when entering the blind, also very narrow, challanging to get in with your bow and gear, wish it was alittle bigger.- poping up the roof of the blind can be alittle challenging when you are by yourself but other than that it was an easy setup.- the backwoods blood trail camo pattern is neat, however I wish it came in a mossy oak or real tree pattern better for where I hunt. All that being said this is the best blind I have owned, there is allways room for improvements but i am verry satisfied and have it set up now ready for another great season. A friend of mine calls this blind the tajmahall of blinds and i couldn't agree with him more.
